    My husband and I are going for about a 2 hour bike ride (about 16 miles) this evening as the weather is FANTASTIC and the town we live in has a great paved trail system.

    20 mins until my training session and I expect to get my lower body worked as I have been warned.
    Glutes, quads, hamstrings etc.

    Barbell Curls
    Calf Raises
    Seated calf raises
    Plate raises
    Hamstring curls
    Push ups
    Planks

    It's a 3 x wk full body workout. 1 day a week for heavy, med, and light versions. each week I add a rep.
    so this week it's 11 reps of everything. 2 working sets, plus the warm up sets for the first 3 exercises.
    Most of it is straight from the all pro beginner routine.

    and a 30 min leisurely walk at lunch time.

    Not bad.

    One of my faves too, and what is on the plate for tomorrow morning. Today was Plyo HIIT, then I did deadlifts, barbell rows, and squats.

    well, I skipped bench day yesterday so today is gonna be:

    Bench (5/3/1 and 5x10)
    rows (5x10)
    squats (5/3/1 and 5x10)
    leg curls (5x10)
    face pulls (5x10)
    a few chin ups (3x3 maybe?)

    I also really want to run today since it's so gorgeous out. So maybe 3 mile run.
    then some yoga before bed

    Weights! 3 sets of 8-12 each [weights in pounds]:

    Squats 115, Bench 95, Overhead Press 65, Overhead pull 100, dumbbell rows 40 [each hand], tricep press 45, curls/reverse curls 45 [bar, 2 sets of 8 each]

    Also abs and legs interspersed, 3 sets of 20 each - seated curl 100, back extension, leg lifts, assisted crunches.

    Warm up is 20 minute jog to the gym, cool down is 20 minute walk home [the jog is a longer, roundabout route] Usually about 90 minutes of lifting. Going for strength, can't wait to get there!

    Grocery shopped this morning. This afternoon I dug out TurboJam. Then walked 20 minutes on the treadmill.
