    I'm really thrilled with my progress this month. I did TDEE-20% for two months and didn't make the kind of progress that I would have liked. I switched to mfp's recommendations to lose 1 lb per week at the beginning of May and have started to lose pounds regularly. I'm finally out of the obese category!

    Woot! Feeling good. Already hit my 5 lbs down for this month and exceeded it. I even hit my goal for the month! Can barely wait to hit the 15 lbs down mark!

    Down 2 lbs so far. It looks like I may not make the 5, but at least I am headed in the right direction. My clothes are already starting to feel better. I am doing some muscle work too, so maybe that has something to do with it.

    My monthly goals for May:
    1) Start taking morning walks after my son goes to school.
    2) Use the elliptical during every gym trip this month (at least 3 days a week)
    3) Drink more water!

    I'm not sure what is going on!! I've been under my calories and exercised 3 days last week. I'm upping my cardio to see if this helps. I know I'm the type that has to exercise to get results. Maybe 3 days is not enough for me. I'm going back to & sticking with working out 5 days a week. I saw a constant loss when I exercised 5 days. Hopefully next week I can report a loss *fingers crossed*

    Total weight lost: I have lost .6lbs since last week and 3lbs so far this month. Things are slowing down quite a bit this month. The only thing that has changed is I am doing more of my workouts outside with bike riding and walking instead of using my home gym equipment.

    Wow, thirty pounds is amazing! According to something I read on MFP a while ago, 30-lb is equal to:
    - 20 dozen large eggs, or
    - an average 2 year old holding a chihuahua, or
    - 15 racks of baby back ribs, or
    - the amount of cheese an average American eats in a year, or
    - 4 average newborns

    So congrats on shedding 240 large eggs!
