    Lies! I have a SAAB which is a dream to drive and it really doesn't need a mechanic very often, even getting it used...although finding a mechanic who knows how to work on it is kind of a pain in Wyoming/Colorado.

    For the OP: Definitely #2.

    Audi's are overrated in my opinion.
    I like the Volvo.

    I'm a Chrysler or Dodge guy myself, but from your choices, I'd go with the Audi.

    The Volvo is going to be the most solid car, the Audi is going to the one you'll want to be seen in the most, the Cooper fun factor will wear off in a week. get rid of any of them before 100,000 miles. I'm an auto mechanic and have been for a very long time.. you do NOT want the repair bills on these cars.

    Best new car available for looks/performance/reliability/repair cost IN MY OPINION is the Ford Fusion Sport with the 2.0 Ecoboost. And that's coming from a Chevy guy!
