You look so good!! Way to go. My process has been a slow one too. But you know what? That means it truly becomes a lifestyle change. It doesn't happen fast and then you're 'done'. It happens slowly and you learn to live a new life and to forever keep it off. Way to go.

    Thank you for the motivation.
I have watched as others have lost twice as much weight as I in the same or shorter period of time. I am envious...yes. But, I am losing and not gaining . My body is getting leaner and tighter every day. I am confident for the first time that I will get to goal... in my body's own time. I am doing what is right for me and it is working, slowly, but surely.

such an amazing story, thanks for sharing. I get distracted at times and a few moments here and there I wonder what the hard work is all for when I can't even lose as much as I thought I would...but now I can see that in a year's time or two can have a significant change as long as I keep at it and be diligent.

You look absolutely amazing - I'm nearly in tears just seeing how well you have done and how much better you must feel. You should be so fricking proud of yourself - it's not the speed of the journey, it's the end result that matters.

    A true inspiration :)

I like many of those who responded needed some sobering thoughts to contemplate. As you point out, we all often get caught up in the numbers and the "Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda" done this or that. Like you I dropped 45# in 5 months and thought I had this thing whipped. Then all the weight stopped... Not gaining, but no longer losing. As a matter of fact the only losing I was doing was losing hope. I like being inspired not by your success but by your failures or setbacks. Even after 4 going on 5 months of not a pound lost, I know what I am doing is the right thing. Some days I need to literally challenge myself to go to Crossfit. Not giving up, in the face of seemingly ZERO progress is HARD HARD HARD.

Thanks for taking the time to share some honest and open feedback on the challenges many of us on this board face.

This is such a great success story. Hearing how hard at was at times gives me the motivation to keep plugging away no matter what. Just because you don't do well a day or a week or a month doesn't mean you give forever. Thank you. You look wonderful.

See, you just gave people exactly what we need to hear. The reminder that slow and steady wins the race. I often get frustrated with my lack of progress but working at it is what counts and it eventually will happen. I am so happy and proud of you!
