I have gone from 137-138 lbs to a steady 132 in about 3-4 weeks. I have been eating 1400-1500 cals AND NEVER BELOW the whole time. Im also exercising 5-6 days a week. The last 2 weeks, my weight has not moved from a very stable 132.4 lbs. what should i do? My goal weight is 128 so i do not have much to go.. Thank you for reading! And thanks ahead for your advice!

Patience. The last few pounds come off very slowly.0

You don't have to be an exact weight. Your final goal should be to maintain your weight within a certain weight range of say 5 or 10 pounds. No person can possibly weigh an exact number all the time.
That being said, just relax and keep doing what you are doing. Maybe push yourself a bit harder but don't overdue anything. As was sais above, the last couple of pounds can be real slow going as they may not be neccesary to lose anyway if you are in your healthy weight range.0 -
Last bit of weight is always the hardest. keep at it. Don't give up.0

you are probably at the plateau in ur weight loss programme. Dont give though... keep at it and you'd get past it soon. Like one of the past comments noted, its good to have range weight goal and not necessarily an exact weight so just keep up ur proramme and focus on maintaining as well.0

Keep at it, it'll come. Make sure you're logging e-v-e-r-y-thing down to the condiments, and be patient. Keep in mind you're so much healthier and that's the real test.0

I've weighed between 132.5 and 136.5 for at least 6 months and TODAY the scale finally dropped to 132!
I've achieved the forward momentum again by keeping my net calories at 1200 for 4 days, then allowing myself 1500 net calories for two days - so I don't lose it and binge.
I've also put more variety (and fewer hours) into my cardio exercises - I now mix it up with the elliptical climber, the easy elliptical, the treadmill, the stationary bike, and the great outdoors - instead of just spending time on the climber.
Finally, I've engaged a new personal trainer who is revamping my weight training for me.
It's not professional advice, but it's what seems to be working for me - and I hope it helps.0 -
I have been stuck in the same rut, trying to get those last few pounds off. I have found by research that not drinking enough water can cause a weight loss plateau. When fat cells shrink they release toxins that need to be eliminated by our liver, kidneys, skin and digestive tract. If we don’t drink enough water the toxins build up and may interact negatively with our hormones and cause increased fat storage.0

Ditto to everyone above. I'm at my last 2 pounds and I honestly don't expect those to be gone before the end of summer. Yes, the END of summer. I'll be mixing and matching my cardio versus weights versus playing in the dirt (i.e. "garden") and walking and playing fetch with the dogs. Even so, I'm sure it'll take the rest of the summer because it's so little for my body to lose.
Have patience and you'll get there!0 -
Have you tried changing up your exercise routine? Your body can get used to your routine fast, so it's been to change up your workout routine about every 3-4 workouts. I was able to avoid ever hitting a plateau, and I think it's because I was always changing up my routine, so it's the first piece of advice I offer.
Good luck!0
