Calorie burning low impact exercise?

Does anyone have suggestions on low impact exercise (besides swimming) that is still good for burning a lot of calories? I love my workouts, but I'm having medical issues that may soon prevent me from doing them so often.

I have had 5 foot surgeries on my left foot so I can only do low impact excerises. What I have been doing and is working great is cycling whether it be on a stationary bike or out on the trails. I live in a town where there are tons of nice paved biking trails. I can burn upwards of 1000 calories in about 2 hours biking the trails.0

I don't know about burning a lot of calories, but walking is always good. I know that I burned 500-600 calories (per a website estimate) in a hour of spinning, so perhaps that would work for you as well. If you're having medical issues, I'd definitely talk to your doc and make sure of exactly what you're cleared to do.0
