This makes me happy but also sad...almost every time the original pic is actually more attractive anyway!
I agree. Why can't they just use the natural pictures of women?0 -
My new favorite thread! It's so nice to read one that is interesting, educational, and not full of arguing.0

Awesome thread. Would love to see more examples of guys made over, too.0

#6 Look for the "mysterious floating head"
Your world is filled with them and you never noticed. They do this to bring out the face, but also make the neck look longer. By adding more hair (or intentionally shooting to have hair there) and heavy shadow they can also easily move the head to another body.
This is hilarious!
I am loving this thread, thanks for posting!0 -

fascinating thread, to the extent that it increased in length by 2 pages while I was reading it! more more more (and I'm a non-magazine-reading, sleb-indifferent person but I have 6 year old and 4 year old daughters...)0

Thank you for showing us those "perfect bodies" we've been beating ourselves up trying to get are in fact not even real. Perhaps more people will strive to get "healthy bodies" that do include natural looks. From now on when I look at those magazines & think for a fleeting moment "oh, maybe I'll just eat a few less calories or try that cleansing program" to look like that girl I will remember that she "doesn't even look like that"0

Very enlightening! Thanks for the post!0
