other than that, i avoid maple syrup (i make these protein packed cottage cheese pancakes and i use sugar free syrup. i haven't used real syrup in about 10 years).
everything else, i say in moderation is fine. hell, i have a pan of homemade tiramisu in my fridge and each piece is 385 calories. i also have boat loads of ice cream in my freezer. as long as i plan ahead for it and don't over indulge, i'm good.
Why would you replace real maple syrup with sugar free??0 -
No "nevers" for me. I'm going to make changes that I can commit to for a lifetime. If it's something I crave tha's not good for me, then it needs to become a once in awhile thing ......... not an everyday thing ...... not a "never" thing.
That's the way I'm doing this. However, I have to agree with the posters who said things like yellow snow, drano, etc.0 -
hydrogenated oils

I NEVER eat anything labeled sugar free or fat free or toaster strudel pastries.
I also will never eat okra or eggplant. Gag.0 -
1 - rat poison
2 - rubbing alcohol
3 - bleach
4 - high fructose corn syrup0 -
I can clearly tell that some people are taking the pi55 but it's sort of funny when you are not quite sure if they are actually serious or not :laugh:0

Bivalves (mussels, clams, oysters, scallops) - I have an allergy.
Peaches - See above.
Brussel Sprouts - NOBODY should ever have to eat brussel sprouts.
Cauliflower - NOBODY should ever have to eat cauliflower.
Soylent Green - It's PEOPLE!
While I totally agree on the Cauliflower I have found that I actually like Brussels Sprouts.
Cut them in half, toss them with a little olive oil and some salt, roast them in the oven at 350 for 20 minutes, pull them from the oven and brush them with a mixture of 1tbsp avage nectar (or honey) and some kind of stone ground mustard.
Cook for another 20 minutes.
Enjoy!
Or don't, life is too short to eat what you don't like.0 -

I am of the opinion that there's no way to make Brussels Sprouts palatable.0 -

Then they are not for you. Life is too short to eat food you don't like.0 -
I always see the ads where it's like "five things you should never eat" and it has a huge banana on the side...
So I'm curious what are the five things you feel you should never eat/drink with trying to be healthy/lose weight?
The five things you like the least.0
