Forks Over Knifes

Many people criticize the research cited in Forks Over Knives as being inaccurate and flawed. Science has always been my brain's weak point, so I can't really get in on the argument. However, I ate 100% vegan after watching it... and quit after about 2 months. I still support anyone who feels vegan is the way to go

I felt like this was one of the less guilt-trippy documentaries arguing for a plant based diet, because it doesn't really go into any animal welfare stuff and just focuses on the "health benefits" of a whole-foods plant-based diet.0 -

I'm very sceptical of everything, but when you have people from the cleveland clinic, and that massive study in china, thats like, the biggest study in human history I'm like woah, maybe they know what they're talking about.
Im pescetarian, and ill probably stay that way, but now that i've seen this I want to get 95% of my protein from plants, and perhaps go back to a milk replacement, and maybe yogurt, but maybe not.
just wanna be a little bit healthier, and this documentary helped me learn new things. 5 stars.0 -
I'm going to watch it tonight since I keep seeing it talked about on the forums. I'll see if I remain a skeptic or if it makes me a believer. I'll TRY to keep an open mind but based on posts I've seen about it, I think I'm already biased.0

Frankly I believe dairy does nothing for us. Also why it's still on the food pyramid! Per the USDA we are suppose to be having 2-3 servings a day of dairy!

yah, I'd agree with pizza being the bomb - I was thinking if there was a replacement for cheese, but really I dont eat it that much (lies I made it the healthy way myself 3 times this week!) and a little bit of dairy wont hurt you.
I don't think a completely plant based diet is necessary, but this is good information for sure.0
