    Because they make great workout partners. My Cocker Spaniel is the best walking buddy EVER! We're also getting an Australian Shepherd/Beagle (if there's a will there's a way :wink: ) mix puppy this weekend.

    Dogs I get. People love them and are loved by them. It shows the depth of feeling someone can have.

    What I don't get is why anybody thinks other people want to see what they drive -- car, truck, bike, ATV... Folks pose for pictures with their vehicles all the time like somebody else actually cares.

    I don't get why people in trucks need to rev the engine when they drive by, like I might be turned on by the sound of their engine rattle and the black smoke to follow. No. Just, no.

    Well... personally... I work in the pet industry so my dogs/cat/parrot/lizards/rabbit/fish are a big part of my life... and I don't have kids so they are like my kids! :)
