What does a 'rest day' mean for you?

My rest day is Sunday and I literally do nothing, just watching tv, reading books, walking with dogs. Just relax time.0

I work out a lot. At least 2 hours a day, and 2 days/week I go on 3-4 hour mountain bike rides. At this point I think I exercise more for the mental health benefits than the fitness benefits, as I am going through a divorce. I take a rest day when my body tells me it is tired, which has been more often now since I added heavy lifting. Its usually about once every 10 days or so. Rest day is no working out, except walking.0

I don't do rest days at the moment, I'm supposed to have a rest day from insanity once a week but I do an upper body free weight session instead.
When I'm lifting heavy I have two or more rest days a week to allow my body to recover and grow.0 -
i rest every sunday where i do my shopping and food prep for the week ahead and my calories(mainly carbs) go up almost twice as much to replenish my glycogen stores. i eat loads, and i lie around watching tv shows...lazy day. back to business from mondays starting with heavy squats at 8am full of energy! makes my rest day that much worth it!0
