What was your food addiction?

Pizza! Pizza! Pizza!

That was what made me gain a whole lot of weight. i would eat a large pizza with triple cheese + a box of potato wedges all by myself & still crave more a few hours later...

But i was too embarrassed to go out & buy the pizza... i would call & order & have it delivered to my house. Now, i know not only was it a horrible & dangerous habit eating 3 or 4 pizzas a week but also very costly. To be honest i don't know if i am strong enough just yet to eat a slice of pizza... i don't know if i will be able to resist gobbling down the whole one & then all my hard work will be out the window. So for now, i've decided no pizza for me, not even a slice. Yes, i have changed my habits, i love working out, i eat healthy but pizza is like a drug & i can't say no!

    I agree, pizza is so good!

    I was also a fan of Reese's minis. I used to get them every time I would go grocery shopping.

    Trader Joe has these chocolate covered peanut butter pretzels. It was my downfall. I would eat the whole bag, and buy several per week. But boy was it yummy!

    Pasta. It was my go to meal for a ling time because it's so easy enough to make. Spagghetti, mac n cheese, tortellini, all of that good stuff. All those carbs will really make you pack on the pounds though. Especially because I eat my pasta with butter and salt on top :P

    Now I find myself taking a few bites of ANY type of unhealthy food (without moderation) and then passing it on to one of the little ones. I think that that is how I know that I'll keep it off.

    Before, I was so selfish about food. As embarrassing as that is to admit. If I'm eating something and you want it, I'll cook you one, but you wouldn't be able to have any of mine.

    I have an awesome pizza place right around the corner. Their veggie pizza is TO DIE FOR. I think I can eat one every day. But.. my food addiction would be cookies. I lose all control when eating them. I crave for it every day, but every night in bed I'm so proud that I didnt give in. :-)

    Pizza (could polish off a large one myself easily), all holiday candy (Hershey's Miniatures/Kisses, Reese's eggs, pretty much any of those bite-sized chocolates in those festive colored bags ugh), warm sourdough bread with butter (I'm talking an entire loaf and stick of butter)...makes me sad just writing it down because it was all emotional eating but happy at the same time because I feel so much better without them!
