What was your food addiction?

I don't know why, but Hostess Honey Buns. The gross ones that are loaded with tons of preservatives. I could eat 2 in one sitting, easily, and probably gained about 10 pounds from Honey Buns alone during my 4th year of college. I still won't eat a honey bun to this day since losing weight because it just brings back too many bad memories! :grumble:0

Pretty much anything edible in portions large enough for two. But my big thing has always been savory things. Cheese, fried things, doughy things, salty things. Or salty/sweet like chocolate covered pretzels. Oh man, so good. But also ice cream and chocolate. I still have all of these things but in smaller portions and much less frequency than I used to. It takes a little while to get there, but when you do it's great!0

I think mine were peanut butter and cheese. I could eat a whole jar of peanut butter or a whole 8oz of cheese.
There was this shake at Sonic that I used to eat too, an extra large, with dough in it. It was so good. I still like it but don't eat it anymore.
I made a very rich homemade chocolate cake too that was so good. I would eat most of it. I have not made that in a very long time.0 -

For me, it always has and always will be anything containing a combination of sugar and fat, so cake, chocolate, ice cream...you get the picture. Fortunately, I have never become overweight as a result, not in my genes apparently. But yep, I cannot walk into a café selling cake, without wanting a slice...or two.0

I am constantly battling my addiction to fatty foods- cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, mayonnaise and the such. Also have had my sodium levels way too high on a few occasions. I really like salty foods. Always have. I was raised on them so it's harder to break. But watching my daily intakes of sodium has helped me realize where all the salt is coming from. I just have to learn to eat less of those foods or only indulge once in a while.0

Nachos! Hands down. Just typing this makes me miss the cheesy, jalapeno goodness.0

Fast food anything. Chocolate anything. Pizza. This list could go on for days...0

Peanut butter
Trader Joe's dark chocolate peanut butter cups
Cheese
Avocados
They still are my addiction. Luckily the closest TJs is 4 hours away. I now buy PB2 so I have to make it before I eat it. I allow myself 1/2 avocado a day (if that), and only one serving of dairy a day (which makes me decide between cheese and the greek yogurt I put in my breakfast smoothie.)0 -

I had a serious addiction to Peanut Butter Snickers. I was a mystery shopper last year and I had to buy something to prove I was at the store... and I always bought 1 or 2 bars with a Diet Coke. (I had a serious Diet Coke addiction, too... have since kicked that habit). Can't even imagine eating like that now!!! I felt so gross...0

Used to be Hooter's boneless wings and curly fries. Now, I'm pleased to say, "no mas!" Losing 54 pounds and getting active again curd that craving.0

A large fresh almond twist pastry with a full fat latte from the coffee shop. Almost everyday! Now I earn half a twist with a 2% latte when I kill it at the gym!0

I would say pasta and cheese. I still eat a cup or two of pasta sometimes now but I realized I must have ate like 5cups before! That and French fries0

Good pasta, cheese, nachos, burritos. Last summer there was an insane coupon deal at Qdoba where if you bought a drink, you got a free entree. I ate at least 4 chicken queso burritos per week while guzzling down Dr Peppers. And my mashed potatoes from scratch (Heavy Cream, couple sticks of butter) all the good stuff! Oh how I miss them!0
