      "it's ok if I have a cigarette when i'm drinking, I know I'll never become a full blown smoker again.".....says the girl who smoked for 9 yrs, successfully quit for 4yrs only to turn around and became a full blown smoker again for the past 2 yrs.

      Today marks day 2 smoke free.

      Congrats on day 2! I've done the same thing...was a smoker for years. Then quit cold turkey, stayed smoke-free for 7 years. Came into some heavy stresses in life, needed "just one" drag to take the edge off. Been smoking for 10 years now. I'm on day 4 of Chantix. Used it last summer, and was surprised how well it worked. But, being the dumba$$ that I can be...went to an out-of-state concert with a smoker. Plus hanging out with smokers. Yep, right back at it. But now, all of those smokers have quit. Time for me to hang it up for good. You're doing great! I'm impressed, and happy for you!

      I'm not so sure that I was actually lying to myself, tho. I mean, if you really think these things, then it's not really a lie. But, man, was I wearing blinders! As far as "not that big" and "not as big as so-and-so..." Hey, the camera doesn't lie! Talk about a rude awakening! I even came across a photo from a family reunion from 12 years ago. I was trying to figure out who that huge woman was, sitting next to my mom. OMG. It was me. I was horrified! I'm at least 50 lbs lighter now, but still....

      I hide the weight well/everyone is always saying they thought I was lighter than I actually am.

      Everyone in my family is heavy, I'll always be big too.

      Someday I'll find someone who will love me no matter what size or shape I am (-- pretty impossible if I don't love me first)

      24 hours and a massive tummy ache later, it would all gone. Another 24 hours, and the cycle would repeat. To anyone dealing with binge/compulsive eating issues, I say to you: there will ALWAYS be another sale on junk food... unless the apocalypse happens, and then do you really want to be the slow fatty of the group when food IS scarce?
