What would YOU do?

I think I would chance it for the life changing amount. A million would be nice, but I would still have to keep working. A hundred million on the other hand would change my families life for generations (if used wisely).

What would YOU do though?

I'd take the 1 million. I like my job, and my life, it would just make it a little easier.

I would take the $1 million. I enjoy my job and would have plenty left over after paying my debt off.

I would take the million. It would be enough to get me back through school so I can spend my life doing what I love.

    I'd take the million.
Buy a house for me and another house - rent one out so I have money coming in all the time.

Then go to college and not have to worry about money too much and I'll have a good education to make my own money too.

I'd be content with the $1m.
A third of it will get me out of work and into retirement, then I have the other two thirds to last me 40 years into my 90's. I may have to work a bit here and there, but I'd surely have no debt and three paid off houses to choose from.

don't forget to pay taxes and with the stock market being unreliable it would be hard to live off that interest (at least for me). My walking away from current job number would be 2 million (after taxes)..... oh well, it's nice to dream at least

Based on 'expected value', we should all choose the 50% of 100million. I think I'd settle for the sure thing. I'm a big saver, and that $1m would change my savings plan for the rest of my life.

I agree, 50% chance nothing in your life changes 50% chance your life is and your children's life and beyond is changed.... that would be one heck of an adrenalin rush leading up to pushing the button though.
