Hi I'd like to join this challenge. I need to try and start some form of exercise and walking is a good place to start. I have arthritis in my knees and around 100 lbs to lose. I'm going to look for a pedometer. Thanks for the challenge!0

I decided last week to try walking as a way of introducing exercise. I have a lot of weight to lose and am very unfit. I've started with a 1.3 mile route which is taking me around 25mins. I hope to increase this.
So joining in in a August walking challenge will be great motivation for me!0 -

You can definately count me it, thats what I've been doing to loose weight. I started about 2 months ago. This could'nt have come up at a better time as I've started to loose my motivation recently.0

I love to walk. I haven't been walking lately. My excuse is that it is too hot outside. It was 107° yesterday. I will stop using the weather as an excuse, walk after the sun goes down, and bring a bottle of water with me.0

I did 1.15 miles on the ellipitcal this morning - that was about 15 minutes!! I plan on going for a much longer second round after work today! I edit this when that happens!
