I would like to know why someone would want this?
I thought it was tumblr thing that pro-anorexics wanted to achieve. Its seen as the ultimate symbol of skinny.0 -
Oh and by the way, those exercises are actually going to build your inner thigh muscles. Some of them are akin to the abductor/adductor machines at the gym.
I prefer to call that the "slut muscle" machine.0 -

I'm sure it depends on how and who is exposing it, but MY experience is that those with extreme thigh gap either look like pole dancers or make me want to offer them some cookies or cake. It doesn't look sexy. But then some guys love the look... so... <whateves>0

It doesn't look "bad" when you're walking.
That doesn't look extreme to me. What I'd consider extreme gaps look to be the same circumference at the top of the thigh as right above the knee. Hers have a nice taper. And she has killer calf muscles, especially for such a thin leg.0 -

I didn't read all the comments, but I'm sure someone has already mentioned it: YOU CAN'T SPOT REDUCE!
If you store fat in between your thighs, you have to lose that first. These exercises build muscle in the inner thigh area, but if there's fat there, it won't matter.
I have pretty straight hips so when I was heavier I didn't think I could ever have a thigh gap but I sort of do now. But only when I'm walking. When I stand straight, my thighs touch a little bit near the top.0 -
