So my grand parents are coming in town and need a place to stay. They asked if they could stay in our spare bedroom but I JUST had it redone into a playroom (Adult) and I would prefer for them not to see it. I don't want them thinking bad of their grand daughter. So I was thinking of telling them that it was under construction and locking the door. Then that leaves them no place to stay. Do you think it would be ok for me to offer them a tent and they could sleep in my yard in the back. I have an air matress they could use as well. Thoughts?

Naw....let grandpaw hook granny up in that swing and rock her world. But I would be careful about letting them use the electrical toys, cause it might *kitten* with his pacemaker......0
-
Personally I think you should let them use the room. My grandparents are into that kinky ****. The only tough part will probably be getting them to leave. If you don't feel comfortable with that.....I'd at least offer an air mattress.....they are old after all.0
-
Not okay IMO. If you don't have a room for them maybe offer to help out with a hotel?0
-
Give us a picture of this room and let us judge from that :drinker:0
-
Will they be allowed to use your bathroom? Things could get complicated for them if they need to poop or pee outside..0
-
My grand parents are about 90 and I don't even want to think of them using that room. Plus that is gross. Old people do not have sex.0

Give them YOUR room, and you sleep in the PLAYROOM maybe ?0 -

There are three downsides to this:
1) Clean up could be awkward.
2) You would have to make certain apparatuses handicap accessible.
3) You may end up having them as guests more often than you would prefer.0 -
So you guys sleep on the air mattress and let the grand parents have your room. REALLY!! Old people need the respect and a soft bed or they'll be cranky forever!!0
-
Do they camp for fun???? I would think the polite thing to do would be to either put the adult toys away for a bit or give them your room and you sleep in the toy room. They are your elders after all and should be treated with the upmost respect.0
-
Let them get their freak on!0

Do you KNOW how long it takes to take swings down?0 -
Let them use the room...just remind Grandma to put her teeth back in, after the gummer.0

Oh they do....0 -
Really? It's quite simple... YOU move to the "playroom" and give your elderly grandparents the master bedroom. No "bed" in said playroom? Then I guess you're sleeping on the air mattress.0

^^^ This! I'd love to see it :happy:0 -

This. A hundred times this.
This is the common courtesy thing to do when you have important guests. You always give them the master and take the crummy guest room. (Unless you have a nice guest room).
This is so obvious an answer that this thread is obviously just:
LOOK AT ME!! LOOK AT ME!!! I HAVE A KINKY SEX ROOM!! (or so I claim). EVERYBODY PAY ATTENTION TO ME! BE SHOCKED OR ALTERNATIVELY AROUSED!!0 -

i just needed to lose my breakfast today...

Offering your 90-year old grandparents a tent to sleep in the backyard?! Please tell me you are joking...
I agree with the other recommendations about offering them your room and you take the air mattress in the playroom.0 -
I would offer my room but I can't sleep on air mattresses.0
-
Give them your bedroom, and set up an air mattress for you to sleep on in the spare room. Just tell them you want them to be comfortable, and don't take 'no' for an answer.0
-
I'm afraid I would need to see the room to make a proper assesment...

You invited them to come..or they just said we are coming, can we stay? If it is the latter...I say f@chem...let them get their own place. Or you and the S/O could take the playroom and make sure to get to banging early before the oldies go to sleep, and maybe the noise and vibrations will drive them away. Or maybe, the noise and vibrations will turn them on...in which case you might wanna put some rubber mattress liners on your regular bed where they will be sleeping. Old people sex and incontinence are not a good match.0

They used to tell me stories when I was little about how they would have to sleep on the dirt floors so I figured an air mattress was a few steps up.0 -
This is why we have a dungeon in the basement hidden away. Plus, every room is a "playground"! :drinker:0

If they're 90 then they definitely shouldn't be sleeping outside in a tent!!! Tell them the room is under construction and offer to help out with a hotel.0 -
Did I just read that correctly? You're considering letting your elderly grandparents sleep outside, while you sleep inside of your house?
If I were in this situation, I would lock the door to the play room, give my grandparents our room and we would sleep on the couches...or on the air mattress.0 -
I say let'em sleep outside. In a tent. You said they slept on dirt floors, whats the different. Or pawn them off on someone else....0
