I'm usually looking for something quick and filling before I head to work, so my latest staple has been Egg Beaters (1/2 cup) with one serving of Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage Crumbles mixed in. I scramble this up and add a dash of hot sauce for flavoring. It's got a lot of protein, tides me over, and is less than 200 calories.

This sounds great !!! I am wondering if I can find the time, during the week, to make it. Do you cook the sausage ahead of time?

    Breakfast smoothie:

    300ml yogurt
    1 really ripe banana
1 juicy apple, quartered and core taken out
    100gr frozen strawberries
    1 handful oats
    (maybe protein powder)

Combine and smooth in a blender.
(for 2 people or one really hungry person)

I love a poached egg with chorizo slices and grated light cheese on, topped off with some salsa. I never eat until lunch time if I have this.

The sausage comes pre-cooked, so it really just needs to be warmed along with the eggs. It's done in less than 5 mins. :-)

I do just about the same for my go to breakfast, sometimes even dinner.

    1 cup of egg beaters
1/2 serving (or 1/3 cup) of Jimmy Dean hot sausage crumbles
    3-4 teaspoons of cayenne pepper
    1 teaspoon of garlic powder

Only 225 calories and 28 grams of protein

I was out of milk this morning, so I had muesli with half a fresh mango and almond milk. Espresso on the side. It was lovely.

1/2 cup of egg beaters, 1/4cup of Pico de gallow, and 1 tbsp of fat free feta cheese ! So yummy, high in protein and very low calorie.
