Just started at my grocery store in the deli department! Working with sandwiches all day got me thinking about all the possible combos.

I LOVE:
Grilled swiss cheese with apples

Portabella mushrooms, balsamic vinegar, prosciutto, and olives with provolone on pumpernickel bread

What are yours? :D

    Oh yum! These sound delicious.

I'm a little boring... I love most sandwich combinations but the one that I sometimes get a huge craving for is turkey, cranberry sauce and swiss cheese with salad on a four seed roll.

^ oh yummy, I had peanut butter and banana on toast for dessert last night.

My favorite sandwich is called a Tatstrami(local deli named Tat's Deli) and it is on an Italian bread roll with: pastrami, swiss cheese, Russian dressing and coleslaw. mmm.

I haven't made this myself, but I had it on a trip abroad--Goat cheese and pickled beets, on toasted bread. I'd never really had beets before and I was intrigued because it was a local cheese and a local bread. It was really yummy.

I also really enjoy a good veggie sandwich or a nice simple grilled cheese.

Cheese in any form. Especially like cheddar with onions or tomatoes. Or cheddar and ketchup.

One of my favorites is a turkey and provolone on ciabatta bread, heated up, with lettuce and banana peppers on it.

Homemade chicken salad with grapes, celery, and cottage cheese on a croissant.
  • My ties for favorite sandwich are chicken salad on toasted wheat or good old peanut butter and jelly on whole grain. I'm also a fan of a legit club sandwich with toasted bread. Mmmmm!

Tuna Salad..... instead of mayo, use 2tblsp of tostito's creamy spinach dip .... top w a slice (or two) of swiss and fresh sliced tomator on grilled (or pressed) marble rye. Don't knock it till you try it~
  • Genoa salami with a bit of mozz cheese, some light mayo and dijon mustard on sourdough bread. I own a panini press and I'm kind of obsessed with it, so I make every sandwich toasted and it just adds a whole other dimension! Then I add raw onions and baby spinach for veg. Best sandwich ever! :]
