Are walkers allowed, or is this runners only? Just curious-i walk pretty fast and have been doing at least 4 miles a day, working on upping my time and distance right now. I think its too late for me to join this month, but if i were to want to do it in Sept, are walkers allowed?

8/17- 5.5 miles- wow, trail running can be tough!
by the way, i bought another pair of shoes and my knees are finally feeling quite a bit better. whew!0 -

There are a number of groups that count walking miles or any types of miles (e.g., biking, walking, and running), the most popular one here on MFP is the Move your *kitten* Challenge and they also run a spread sheet - it was a group I considered joining myself, but I wanted a group that kept me more accountable with my running, so I joined this group :happy:

i bought another pair of the adidas climacool shoes. the insole only lasts me about three weeks, but i am trying a sport shoe insole in hopes that they will be a better fit for me and add a little extra cushion.
