Denise, you have done a awesome job at losing the weight you have lost! I TRULY have faith that you WILL achieve the next level of your goal!! Gaining while on vacation is VERY easy to do but it is also very hard to get rid of BUT you have set these very realistic goals and you can achieve them!! TT coming up? MY advice? Lose as much as you possibly can BEFORE you do this otherwise if you lose after it then you end up with some saggy skin again! Our skin does not reattach so well after being stretched out for a long amount of time. Do you log the foods you eat and the cals you burn on here? Or do you cut the bad carbs from your day after lunch? BOTH will TRULY help you lose that belly fat under that skin that they will remove! I am SOOOOO excited for you! If you need any help I will sure try to provide it! The daisy's and the facial/massage idea is an AWESOME one. You are so clever AND yes very PRETTY too!thanks v for the pic compliment....i feel pretty when i look at that pic
okay well between maintaining in the mid 170s for over a year and then gaining 10lbs over vacation and resetting my ticker UP 10, i have decided it is time for a "reset".....
sooooo, i'm resetting my mind and my goals and my rewards....i haven't rewarded myself in a million years nor have i focused on reaching any specific goals outside of my monthly move your @ss challenge miles....i really dont want to focus on the scale even though i would love for it to move down lol, it is not what is truly important to me right now....
so for the next 4wks i have set a goal of 3 morning runs and 2 strength sessions (either with wts if i can make it to the Y fitness center or with body weight if i can't) each week....
at the end of each week if i have made my goal i will buy myself a fresh bouquet of gerber daisies for my desk at work on the following monday....
at the end of the 4th week if i have met my goal for each week, i will either have a facial or a massage....i will buy the GC now to have on my desk at work to remind me to stay the course but not use it until i meet my goal....
this will bring me thru the 1st week of september and then i will figure out what to do up until my tummy tuck surgery on 9/21....i will have to "re-start" again after my surgery building up my distance as i will most likely be off any kind of exercise for at least 3 wks maybe up to 5 with the exception of light short walks.....
anyway, keep pushing me and encouraging me to meet each weeks goal...i LOVE gerber daisies and hardly ever buy them for myself so this will be a reward for sure...and a facial or massage, i honestly can't tell you the last time i had either of those - at least 2-3 yrs ago????

8/1 - 2.6 mile walk after supper
8/2 - 3.95 run 1 min / walk 1 min with friends
8/4 - 9 mi - 8 (run 1 / walk 1) + 1 walk
8/5 - 1 mi walk
8/6 - 4 mi run/walk
8/8 - 2.7 mi (run 10/ walk 3)
8/11 - 10.3 - 9.3 (run 1 / walk 1), + 1 walk
8/13 - 3.1 (run 20/w5/5/3/5)
8/15 - 3.9 (r1/w1)
8/18 - 13 (r1/w1)
Total 53.55 / Goal 60

10K (6.2 miles) road race this evening! Completed the run in just under 56 minutes, which is a PB for me at this distance! Two PB's in the space of a week


Edited to add a note : Just realized that a 10K is 'only' 6.2 miles as opposed to 6.25 miles so my ticker is wrong! I will make up the .05 miles in one of my runs next week
