15 min walk plus 15 min yoga and toning exercises as a minimum daily. Sometimes like today, I will walk a little longer.
I also aim to do 1 long walk a week....3-5 miles.0 -
Mine is:
Taekwondo 2 hours a week
Run 40 minutes a week
Circuit 40 minutes a week0 -
It all depends on your personal goals; 20 minutes or an hour. If you have been working out for a while and your body is use to it, you may just need to change your routine and not necessarily the amount of time.0

i work out 5-6x/wk and on weight training days 60 min on weights and 30-45 min on cardio, just cardio days 60-120 min of cardio.0

I do CrossFit 3-4 times a week, which takes between 25-40 minutes. Sometimes I go for a 3-5 mile run once a week, too. One of the things I like best about CrossFit is that it combines strength and cardio in one workout. I don't like spending a lot of time in the gym.0

Weight days - 40 minutes to an hour.
Cardio days - 30-60 minutes.
IMO, the point isn't to work out for hours and hours - it's to get a good workout in and get out of there.
Same. Weights are 2-3 times a week, cardio (running) is 3 times a week.0 -
recently ramped things up a bit. gym-cardio-15 min, weights30-45 min. 6X a week. cardio-zumba-60 min 2x a week. I return to work next week, i bet it will be gym 3X a week and zumba 2X.0

I usually do an hour at least 6 days a week I lift 3 times a week and run 3 times a week. Yesterday I did 2hr20mins because it was long run day. Sometimes do cardio and weights on the same day. If I am on nights it might be less as I don't get much time to sleep( only while the kids are at school) . I try to have 1 rest day a week but not always. I also walk a lot as I walk the kids to school 2-3 times a day, week days only.0

I try to do about 40 minutes weights with 20 minute HIIT, 1 min walk, 1 min run afterwards. If you're going to weights and cardio on the same day, ALWAYS do your weights first.0

All together about 4 hours a day. Between taking my dogs on runs, strength training, cardio and tennis with my fiance0
-
weights and cardio days I work out about 30 minutes. Zumba days about an hour. I also wear a Fitbit all day except when I am consciously exercising and burn both walking and stair climbing calories.0
-
I aim for 4-6 days a week. Mix of cardio and weights. Work days usually 30-45 minute workouts. Non workout days 30-90 minutes depends on my mood and what I have going on that day. I workout at home with Cathe and other various instructors.0

I've been working out 4-6 days a week for about 30-45. I always do cardio, but some days I throw in some weights.0

Tue 60 minutes zumba
Wed 60 minutes belly dance, 30 minutes weights
Thurs, 60 minutes trampoline, 60 minutes zumba, 60 minutes hip hop, 30 minutes weights.
Fri 60 minutes weight class, 60 minutes trampoline, 60 minutes zumba
Sat 60 minutes hip hop
Sunday 60 minutes personal trainer, TRX/crossfit.0 -
What days do I workout?
Everyday of course!0 -
My workouts are a bit more intense as I'm prepping for a fitness competition but I weight train 5 to 6 times a week and do cardio every day.
My training falls 3 days on, 1 day off and on and on. My cardio is 45 minutes every day.0 -
I try and do at least 20 mins a day and two, one hr sessions at the gym.:flowerforyou:0
-
60 min cardio 4x and 60 min weight training 2x - sometimes 3x. I'd like to have a solid 3x on weights, just can't work my schedule around it.
(this doesn't count the half hour walk I take each morning with the dog --- I count the calories expended, since I'm set at a sedentary activity level, but don't consider it a "real" workout)0 -
Almost every day... for 1 to 2 hours depending on how much time I have. I walk and take Yoga classes.:happy:0
-
5 days a week. Strengthening 40-50 mins and Cardio 20-40 mins.0
-
I usually do about 3-4 hours a day.
It takes me roughly 40 minutes to walk to gym. I do weights which somtimes takes up to 1 1/2 hours depending on what I'm doing. Then I do 400 calories on the bike, which takes 30-40 minutes. And 400 on the elliptical which takes 20-30 minutes. Then I have my protein and walk 40 minutes back home.
It's actually a lot of work I just don't know how else to lose weight.0 -
hmm i dnt have a set schedule. I just work out whenever I feel like but I just make sure that I exercise at least 3 times a week at 30 minutes each0
-
I on average do 30 min - 1 hour
I recently met with a trainer who told me you should weight lift for 30 min then cardio for 30 min( interval training mode)0 -
I walk to and from the gym. That's 20 minutes each way, so a total of 40 minutes of walking. Once I am at the gym I do weight lifting 3 days a week, for about 45 minutes usually. And on my rest days I do yoga. Sometimes after weights I'll do some HIIT on the bike for 15 minutes.
And I also dance. That can vary anywhere from 2 days a week to 6 days a week, for 2 to 4 hours per day, depending on what I have coming up for performances or how many projects I am working on. That may increase soon. I don't consider that exercise at a steady state because it is interspersed with rest times to talk about what we did, what we are going to do or to watch other people while they do their part. The intensity varies depending on the project. There have been times when I have had to spend hours in a plank type position, while crawling across the floor staying in that plank type position, kind of like rock climbing, but while on the floor (like a tiger walk I think it might be called). Dance is funny like that because you rehearse a part over and over until you perform it (sometimes once, sometimes for a week). Then you let it go and start something new.
Ok, I just looked that up, and in exercise terminology what we were doing for hours per day is called the spiderman crawl. The only difference is that the spiderman crawl allows for the body to rise between crawls and in the dance project I was doing we needed to do the crawl, while keeping our body on the same plane just above the ground, supported by our arms and legs the whole time.0 -
UGH ...........:::::::::::::::::this is me hanging my head in shame:::::::::::::...........................
I shouldnt even put into print what I do for a workout. BUT Im trying...hard...every damn day even when I dont feel so good. Im new enough at this journey that Im still trying to find what works best and what I can hang with long term.
I just use some 3, 5 and 8 pound dumbells or weights or whatever they're called and do calisthenics at home anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes a day....most often 20....every single day. Lately Ive been trying to do 20 minutes twice a day. Im trying to increase every few days by at least a little. Ive got so damn much titanium in me Im leery to push too far yet.
I know its nothing compared to what y'all are doing but by damn Im trying0 -
Approximately 30 minutes a day 6 days a week, 1 rest day and 1 treat meal a week.0
-
Anywhere from 45 minutes to two hours, depending on what kind of workout I am doing.0
-
I do between 4-6 workouts a week anywhere from 40-90 minutes at a time :happy:0
