My NSV - the seat belt challenge

In my own car, fastening the seat belt has been no problem. But when I would ride as a passanger in my daughter's car, the seat belt fastens at my left hip, and I would have to ask for her help. First, it wasn't an automatic habit motion. Second, I could never see the dang thing because my fat *kitten* spilt over and obscured it. After these several months, I visited her and had the occassion to be the passanger. Without even thinking about it, I got in, grabbed the belt, glanced down and SAW where it was to go, and CLICK, I was IN! Didn't have to ask for her help! When I realized what I had done, I nearly cried for joy! Thought I'd share.

Good for you! Milestones are so wonderful, and for me at least, help to keep me focused!
I know the feeling. Come to think of it, I can not remember the last time I rode in our truck, either pre-MFP, or shortly after I started MFP, I can't wait to see if I can actually see it to fasten it.

in moms car i cant get teh seatbelt on at all to click. when i drive her car i have to slide the seat all the way back put the seatbelt on then have someone slide the seat back up so i can reach the pedalslooking for the day i can do both tasks on my own the front would come easier i'm sure since the back seat strap only goes to my hip and wont even touch the clasp to lock in

Congratulations! I completely understand how exhilarating this kind of victory is!! I used to have to hold my breath to get the seatbelt clicked.....or go without it. I used to have to count to three and ram my tush into movie-theatre seats.....or choose to use the handicapped stall in the women's restroom for the room or stand instead of sitting in those painfully vile resin chairs. Not any longer!!

Congratulations!!!! It's these successes that keep us going!! I hope this is the first of many for you.

Congratulations! So AWESOME! I can now set my purse next to me in my seat of my car! I can also share a seat with my 10lb dog and she lays right in between me and the arm of the chair for maximum warmth  I think she is very happy for my weight loss just for that seat LOL
