I scored 100% introvert on the Myers Briggs Type Indicator test. INFJ, to be exact. Anyone else take this test?

Yup, and I'm an INFJ also :)

According to the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Inventory) I am an ENTP, which means I'm extroverted, or that I get my energy from interacting with the external environment. This is true for me, but I am not a classical extrovert. I prefer small kickbacks with a few close friends, and I like my alone-time, so I tend to think of myself as an introverted extrovert; I am definitely in-between.

If anybody else is interested in discussing personality types (MBTI/Enneagram/etc.) feel free to add me and we can talk more! I've been fascinated with the way different people act/feel/etc., and I've found personality typing is an interesting place to start.

Yes! I am an ISTP. I am the Mechanic or the Problem Solver. I tend to mull things over in my head a lot until I can find the solution, or improve a process that already exists. It's a blessing a curse.

Apparently, I have the same personality type as Clint Eastwood (I guess so from what I can see), Steve Jobs (I can't see it, really), Maggie Fitzgerald Million Dollar Baby (fits my personality very much).

Introvert; INTJ. I exert myself in social and work situations where required but it takes energy.

I just took that test and I am an ENFP. That apparently means I am neither introverted nor extroverted.

    I am confused.

I am an ISTJ. I used to be 100% on the Introvert, but two years later it had moved down to 78%. Being introverted doesn't mean you don't like being around people, it just means they drain you of your energy. So for an extrovert, it doesn't mean they don't like being alone, they just get their energy from being around people. People with high "E" scores completely exhaust me. Though most are nice people, they just don't even realize how much they are draining me.

To be totally honest I think I'm more of an ambivert than the two given, since being with people isn't particularly draining to me and I enjoy large groups and crowds (the feeling of anonymity is best) but appreciate and cherish the time I have to myself.

ENFPs and ENTPs are considered to be the most introverted of extroverts (there is an ongoing debate over who is moreso, us ENTPs swear we are, while I've known many-a ENFP to claim THEY are the most introverted extroverts... lol)

Basically it just means that you aren't SUPER extroverted, and that you are more balanced in the introversion/extroversion department, but that you still get energized by interacting with the external world (instead of getting energized by going inside and spending time in your inner world).

Just took the test some people were talking about, and I'm a ISTJ (89% introvert). No surprises there I guess

I am in introvert. I strongly dislike crowds, loud parties, anything with lots of people and/or noise.

I have and love my friends, but I limit my time with them. I'm perfectly content with seeing friends once every few months or so. I don't mind texting or facebook often, but I HATE talking on the phone. I had a friend once where this caused a rift, because she wanted to talk on the phone ALL THE TIME, like every day, several times a day. You're lucky if you get me on the phone once a MONTH. ha ha!

^^ This is exactly like me!

I like people, but they exhaust me. I also hate talking on the phone.

I was pretty much straight down the middle when I had the Myers Briggs test done - a combination of INTP and ENTP. I was very strongly NTP, but in the middle of I and E. Apparently more extrovert by nature, and more introvert by nurture.

I'd say my Aspergers has played a significant part in my introversion too - I need a lot of time alone to process things. I frequently find people confusing, and I don't enjoy a lot of the things that most people enjoy. I enjoy spending time with people, because I find them interesting, but it's incredibly exhausting too. A lot of sensory input to process. It's easier and calmer to be alone, in silence. And I love my own company. I have a lot going on in my head and I need time and space to focus on it.

As a kid, my ambition in life was to become a hermit. :-)

I am in between, but more towards introvert. I enjoy time with people, but not too much. If given the choice, I would be alone.

Introvert...other people are exhausting! My husband is also an introvert, which is good because we understand each other. With people we know well we're pretty comfortable and come out of our shells, but with strangers we're both pretty much paralysed with shyness and anxiety.

Sometimes I miss not having a female 'best friend' close by to do things with (my two lady best friends are working long-term overseas and don't live locally when they're home), and I wish that I found it easier to socialise and make friends, but on the whole I'm pretty happy and like having time to myself. I don't like to have a full social calendar!
