I scored 100% introvert on the Myers Briggs Type Indicator test. INFJ, to be exact. Anyone else take this test?

I believe those were my same results! What does the J stand for again?

J stands for judging, but not in the traditional sense. It's opposite is P or Perceiving.

"Myers and Briggs added another dimension to Jung's typological model by identifying that people also have a preference for using either the judging function (thinking or feeling) or their perceiving function (sensing or intuition) when relating to the outside world (extraversion).

Myers and Briggs held that types with a preference for judging show the world their preferred judging function (thinking or feeling). So TJ types tend to appear to the world as logical, and FJ types as empathetic. According to Myers,[1]:75 judging types like to 'have matters settled'."

J personalities tend to need closure, and prefer routine.
  • The tests always say that I'm an extrovert... however, my personality type is ENFJ...so I'm one of the odd extroverts who also needs time out every once in a while to think and reflect...

I do know that too much time alone or without interaction with others drives me completely insane...

I have always been quite an extrovert, friendly, outgoing, love people. I would go shopping just to chat up all the strangers in the store. When my health declined and I gained a fair bit of weight, I stopped leaving my house. I actually did not leave home for over 4 years, until a couple months ago. I was far worse than an introvert, I was a recluse, for all intents and purposes.

Since I have lost some weight and my health has improved a great deal, I am once again more of an extrovert. I love to go out where people are now, I talk to everyone, I smile all the time and almost hate coming back home. It was a hard road getting back to this point. But, I'm thankful I was able to.

Extrovert. Need grown-up interaction on a regular basis or I feel myself slipping into insanity. Sanguine Choleric with splashes of Melancholy, and not a smidge of Phlegmatic in me.

Introvert all the way!! I dont mind getting out from time to time but I'm not one for all day events involving a bunch of other ppl. And to me, I'm okay with it most times, but living in a city where i don't really know any aside from my fiance and the people I work with(who I'd NEVER hang out with) it kinda sucks at times. Especially right now with trying to lose weight. I find it hard to even make myself leave the house and go the gym but I feel like if I knew someone else that was trying to do the same thing it'd be easier for me. My fiance and I are kind of similar in that aspect. We both WANT to go, but neither of us is motivated by it enough to make ourselves get up and go and there is even a decent gym at our apartment complex! Its the getting up, turning the tv off and actually leaving the house part that is the hardest. On the occassions we do go, we enjoy it while we're there! If only we can get over the initial "getting there" process and make a habit out of it. I KNOW it'd be good for us both!

True introvert. Being around lots of people drains me. I look forward to socializing now and again but I need to recharge my batteries with alone time frequently.
