    Yeungling Lager

I love the Yuengling Lager but it is simply not sold west of the Mississippi. :frown:

At home I like McMenamin's Terminator Stout or Widmer Drop Top Amber Ale or their Hefeweizen.

Also a beer snob...usually anything domestic or "watered down" as we say, just can't be classified as beer (Molson, Blue, Canadian, Bud...ewwwwww).

These are my favourites at the moment:

    • Merchant Ale House Blueberry OR oatmeal OR pumpkin ale
    • Alexander Keith's IPA/Red/White
    • Kronenberg 1664 Blanc
    • Shocktop Belgian White
    • Hoegaarden
    • Fruli Strawberry

For our local beer it is Full Sail Pale Ale. Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier is my favorite import.

Blue Moon Autumn Sampler is yummy! And I HATE regular Blue Moon! Caramel Apple Spice is the best.

Leinenkugels Sunset Wheat (tastes and smells of Fruity Pebbles)

    Three Floyds Gumball Head

    Honey Brown

And for the bolley alley league nights, or any other time I can't get a nice brew, Amber Bock.

I'm a weird beer lover. I like higher gravity beers, super dark beers, and my favorite are the Belgian style Dubbels and Tripels. In summer I like an occasional Shandy or Hoegaarden.

    My recent faves:
Red Oak (this is more of a brown/Irish ale, but made locally and my fave draft)
    Ommegang 3 Philosophers
    Ommegang BPA (Belgian Pale Ale...yum)
    Aviator Black Mamba Stout
    Lonerider Sweet Josie
    Duck Rabbit Milk Stout
    Guinness (close to room temp)
    Dogfish Head 90-minute
    Sweetwater 420

I drink a lot of local (NC) craft beers.

sooo, sooo many.... my favorites are generally ones I can't see through. I like beer that can be dinner by itself: Imperial stouts, smokey porters, black ales and ipa's. I hurt myself at craft beer festivals.

I actually had a Southern Tier that I didn't care for recently: Mokah. I actually couldn't finish the 22 oz, it was too sweet. I left it in the fridge until it went flat and poured it over french vanilla ice cream, and that was acceptable, toned down the sweet of the beer and brought out more of the coffee flavor.
