    2. push myself to run a full 5k
    3. Get my eating back under control so I can pass the darn 50lb mark. I almost want to change my ticker again to 0 for the next 50lbs ( I think I secretly got too comfortable and I have a lot more than 50lbs to lose.) :ohwell:

My 30th birthday is at the end of September and I originally wanted to lose 30 pounds by the time I reached 30 but now I'm just going to try for about 10 more by then. That will give me a total of about 20 pounds lost since I started back on here this summer!

Mine is to be able to do 20 pushups without stopping. Regular pushups, not the modified type that I usually do.

I actually started the goal last week but gave myself until the end of Sept because I thought it would take me a while because I've never been able to do more than a few, but I'm already up to 12 at once, so I might have to find a new goal mid-Sept.

I find that personal goals helps keep me motivated to work out, which is always my downfall. My summer goal was the C25k (done!).

I'm just starting and my goals are:

Try to exercise at least 4 times per week for at least 20 minutes per session.
Drink the recommended 8 - 8 ounce glasses of water per day.

Taking small steps to get to a big goal.

    1. Lose 2% body fat.
    2. Start lifting regularly. I do a lot of circuit training, but I should/could be lifting heavier weights than my "minnie mouse" dumbbells.
    3. Get up early so I can actually get in a whole work out while the baby is asleep/husband is home to help if she gets up.

No matter where you are in life, it is good to set goals to work towards. Whether they are fitness, weight loss/ weight gain, career, love or money goals.

What are your goals for September?

Gain some more weight, get myself into a long-term CBT programme for my depression, have my 21st birthday and engagement photoshoot ... and keep myself busy!

    In no particular order...
    1) Do my physical therapy every single day so I'm in less pain, and therefore am far less prone to turn to alcohol for pain management.
    2) Do my 2-mile walks with the dog at least 5 days per week, weather permitting (as opposed to the 3-4 times per week we're doing now).
    3) Continue developing my skills in visual arts; I've been out of it for 12 years, and just started up again last week. It creates a wonderfully healthy emotional balance for me, and is something I should do every day for at least 20 minutes.
    4) Lose 5-7 pounds.

I'd like to quit junk-food cold turkey! I always tell myself that just a few M&M's won't hurt but it adds up! My ultimate goal is to start eating much more health conscious.
