In September, I have a few goals.
1.) Loose 3-5 lbs
2.) Keep up with school and work
3.) Plan Senior Pics0 -
1. Lose 2% body fat.
2. Start lifting regularly. I do a lot of circuit training, but I should/could be lifting heavier weights than my "minnie mouse" dumbbells.
3. Get up early so I can actually get in a whole work out while the baby is asleep/husband is home to help if she gets up.0 -
No matter where you are in life, it is good to set goals to work towards. Whether they are fitness, weight loss/ weight gain, career, love or money goals.
What are your goals for September?

1. Move into my new place and get an amazing workout routine started and stick to it
2. Lose some inches (not weight)
3. Not smoke as much....  :sad:0 -
In no particular order...
1) Do my physical therapy every single day so I'm in less pain, and therefore am far less prone to turn to alcohol for pain management.
2) Do my 2-mile walks with the dog at least 5 days per week, weather permitting (as opposed to the 3-4 times per week we're doing now).
3) Continue developing my skills in visual arts; I've been out of it for 12 years, and just started up again last week. It creates a wonderfully healthy emotional balance for me, and is something I should do every day for at least 20 minutes.
4) Lose 5-7 pounds.0 -

Well, in two weeks I'll have my financial aid refund (bought my books online so I have a little leftover, yay!) and I'm going to buy some new Nikes for running. I haven't run all summer because my running shoes hurt my feet.
SO... starting then, I'll be running non-stop, doing some yoga and pilates, and am going to start my heavy lifting again IF my elbow cooperates (old volleyball injury flaring up - grr).
I hope to be at least 15 lbs lighter (I say that because I know a few of my lbs are water weight) by October with the help of my trusty running shoes. I've missed running so much!!!0 -

Retired this summer from education - In my 50s - goal is to lose 30 pounds, according to my wonderful doctor. Used to work 10 hours a day. Now I have the time to exercise 70 minutes a day - trying to burn 500 calories each session. Making a point to move more and make great food choices. Still transitioning into my new life. Amazed how gratitude plays into this fitness goal. When I'm not into it, I count my blessings and get moving!0
