Well, I took the leap ladies and started us a thread! So perhaps people can decide whether it's a specific number or a percentage during the challenge. And how long? I do think weekly weigh-ins are a good plan... Shall we start a roll-call?

    :smile: I'm in - tho I don't think I understand the challenge. Are we posting how much we have left to lose all together, or what we want to lose before the next Monday weigh-in?

    ETA - I ''checked in'' this morning. :sad: 5lbs gain. Seriously need to get my big ol' butt in gear!!!

    Alright tall friends, I'm copying and pasting what people have written so far. When more people add their names can you please copy the whole list and add your name to it so we can keep track of the group all in one place?

    Roll Call: (Name, followed by goal loss for the 5 week challenge)

    Also, take a look at the number you've got beside your name. I think if we keep track of what we want to lose during this challenge it would be good. Shall we say 5 weeks at a time? Long enough to see some changes but short enough to keep you on your toes? That sould take us to a final weigh-in on March 2nd. And yes, an official weigh-in on Mondays sounds good! (Helps keep the weekend in check, yes?)

    So in my experience it's nice to set mini-challenges during the course of the challenge. For example, this week I challenge everyone to drink ALL their water EVERY day.

    I haven't weighed this week either--I'll have to start the challenge from my weight tomorrow (because I'm SO not weighing anytime but first thing in the morning)!

    I love that there's a tall girls' club now!! I've never taken part in the challenges on these boards before, and I don't really have a set weight loss goal (other than to Just Keep Going!), but I'm here and I want to cheer you all on and be held accountable for my workouts and healthful choices.

    According to MFP when I finish my diary I can lose 14lbs in 5 weeks at the rate I'm going, but I think 10lbs is more realistic. Anything more will be a bonus. :)

    Yes, weekends are rough for everyone. It's holiday mentality!! I'm fighting my way back from falling off the wagon in a LARGE way for the past year and weekends are my current project!

    I'm gonna die with the Monday weigh-in! I usually weigh in on Fridays. Maybe I'll just "save" the Friday result and post it Monday! :tongue: I think I cleaned up the straggling posts.
