Well, I took the leap ladies and started us a thread! So perhaps people can decide whether it's a specific number or a percentage during the challenge. And how long? I do think weekly weigh-ins are a good plan... Shall we start a roll-call?

I would love to join your thread if thats ok! I lack motivation to eat less! But I want to weigh less so need to find the motivation from somewhere!

Also, take a look at the number you've got beside your name. I think if we keep track of what we want to lose during this challenge it would be good. Shall we say 5 weeks at a time? Long enough to see some changes but short enough to keep you on your toes? That sould take us to a final weigh-in on March 2nd. And yes, an official weigh-in on Mondays sounds good! (Helps keep the weekend in check, yes?)

So in my experience it's nice to set mini-challenges during the course of the challenge. For example, this week I challenge everyone to drink ALL their water EVERY day.0

I love that there's a tall girls' club now!! I've never taken part in the challenges on these boards before, and I don't really have a set weight loss goal (other than to Just Keep Going!), but I'm here and I want to cheer you all on and be held accountable for my workouts and healthful choices.0

According to MFP when I finish my diary I can lose 14lbs in 5 weeks at the rate I'm going, but I think 10lbs is more realistic. Anything more will be a bonus.0

Yes, weekends are rough for everyone. It's holiday mentality!! I'm fighting my way back from falling off the wagon in a LARGE way for the past year and weekends are my current project!0 -
