How to increase intensity of Zumba?

I've been doing Zumba for three weeks now, three days each for the last two weeks. Its a one hour class and I feel great.
But the problem is I'm finding the classes to become less challenging. I do sweat but my muscles no longer ache.
I know it must be my body adapting, but so soon?
At first I just lifted one kg weights for each hand, and now 2kgs aren't enough.
What should I do? How can I increase the intensity of my workout?
Please help! Would love to hear your advice!

Make sure you are engageing your arms and hands in your work outs. When you raise your arms above your head you double the intensity of the zumba movement.0

It depends on the instructor too - maybe someone knows of an instructor who does a more intense workout? Mine is really intense and I'm sweating like crazy at the end of every session of zumba toning with her!0

can you run in place in between songs? If you exaggerate your movements, it will mean greater intensity. try it next time0
