Went for a holiday, and lost weight too!!

It's great to be back on MPF after being away for 10 days. I just got back from my holiday in India. It was tough making food choices, as everything there is laden with coconut oil! I had to be very careful not to over indulge (it was not easy, the food tasted so good with all those lovely spices - naan breads, chicken tandoor, gobi manchurian, mango lassi .... I could go on ...).

I came home and weighed in, bracing myself for the inevitable ... but I was suprised!! I actually lost 2 lbs! wohooooooooooo!!!!

I guess I have learnt to make right choices and the key was moderation. I did not deprive myself, but I controlled my portions.

Now that I am back, I am so excited to continue to work out and make those right choices. Here's to a healthy lifestyle :)
