Barefoot moscato is good. But my favorite is Berringer Moscato. Riesling is good too. And for red I like lambrusco because I'm classy like that. I don't drink my wine with meals. I drink it on an empty stomach for best results.

We mostly drink reds...and we mostly just pick by price and if the brand is interesting or cleverly named. *shrugs* It's worked fairly well for us. Mostly prefer cabs but recently started drinking malbecs.

I LOVE wine! Mostly red, but I'm getting into whites (and a good glass of white on a beautiful summer day is as good as it gets!). We're lucky enough to have spent most of our life right outside the McLaren Vale in South Australia, which produces some of the best reds around. My favourite red is Pepperjack Shiraz! It's beautiful. Wirra Wirra Church Block is also great, and Mitolo The Jester. In terms of white, Shaw and Smith's Savignon Blanc is unbeatable, in my eyes!
  • Yum, white zin & moscato are my favorites :)

I'll have to try the Moscato wine everyone is talking about. I usually drink french red wine but am willing to try something new. I do know that Robert Mondavi red wine is awful  I agree with one of the above posters who said she drinks wine on an empty stomach for best results, LOL I do too!!
  • I never liked wine much before but I've been mixing Lambrusco (really cheap) with poland springs sparkling water and it's so refreshing and delicious!

I love a good Merlot, or my favorite is a good Malbeck.

I had Robert Mondavi white at my wedding (10 years ago) and it was awful! So awful I still remember it 10 years later LOL

Best red = Pepperjack, Annie's Lane or Majella
Best white = Oyster Bay or Annie's Lane
Best rose = Jacobs Creek Shiraz Rose

If you start drinking reds, I suggest buying an aerator. They can make a cheap wine taste way better. Also, something to note is serving wine at certain temperatures can make them taste better also. Reds are good at 'cellar' temperatures, not "room temperature" as many people believe. http://www.bettertastingwine.com/temperature.html

I love wine, very true about the temps. I have a chiller, but for someone who doesn't, the best advice I've ever heard is for whites, take them out of the fridge 30 minutes before you serve them and reds, refridgerate for 30 minutes prior to serving. One of my favorite wines though is a good Barberra. I've never had a bad one.
