Anyone heavier than their husband?

My husband is 2 inches taller than me (I'm 5'7 1/2) and 12 lbs lighter than me as of now. He is all muscle because he is an outdoor workaholic. Does anyone else feel like an amazon woman compared to their husband? This also makes me more insecure. I cant wait until he can pick me up like I'm 5'2 and 110lbs. LOL I was much smaller than him before we were married for the record.

I can sort of relate. I'm 5'11'' and my ex bf was/is 5'8''. He was never less than me in weight, though. But we were pretty close. I'm hoping my next guy is my height or taller, lol. And as soon as I lose another 15-20 lbs then I won't really have to worry about the weight thing...not that I ever did. I tend to like medium to bigger build guys anyway. :) But I also never really wore my higher shoes around my ex...because I'd be like 6'3'' and he'd still be about 6 inches shorter. I've got my eye on a nice south african boy who is 6'6''. ;)

My hubby is only an inch taller than me (I'm 5'2")but I out weigh him by 30 pounds! UGH!!
He was in the military until he was injured in Iraq and has since put on some weigh...but so have I (2 babies). I have made changes to our household diet and he has dropped 10 pounds without exercising. I am looking forward to a healthier family all around!

At the start I was almost 10 stones heavier than my husband, now I'm just 1½ stones heavier than he is!

Will be a shocker when I actually weigh less than he does!

Yes, I'm at least 30lbs heavier than my husband - and have been for quite a while! I'm not keen on the situation, and I'm trying to do something about it. He's not a particularly tall or burly guy though (trying to make myself feel better here, lol! ).

I used to be heavier than my husband. It didn't bother me since I don't go around comparing myself to other people.

My hubby is an ex football player. Not fat, just muscular. When we began dating he was like twice my size! I used to borrow his sweats for PJs because they were baggy and comfy.... now he borrows MY sweats because they're baggy and comfy! Ugh! It's so embarassing. It makes me feel so disgusting, especially during.... you know.... the horizontal hokey pokey. That's why I'm losing weight. I know he loves me no matter what. But I want to be a hot wife!

I am not heavier then my husband but I look it. :O(
  • I used to be! He is tall, 6 3 1/2, he weighs around 200. I used to weigh 204 at 5" 7 1/2. Thank God that was 3 years ago. I now weigh 160 and plan to weigh 155 soon!

My OH is a foot taller than me. It was when I realised I was heavier than him that I desperately needed to do something about it. :embarassed:
Only been here 10 weeks and it's no longer the case

My hubby is almost a foot taller than me (I'm 5'2", he's 6'1"). I weight more than him, by about 5 lbs right now. I'm looking forward to weighting less, because this is silly.

I was heavier than him by 40-50 pounds, but that all changed about a year ago. Now, finally, I'm smaller than he is.

He NEVER made me feel bad about my weight, though. That's one reason I love him so much - he fell in love with me when I looked my worst.

Thankfully I am 5'2 and my husband is 5'11 so I have always weighed less than him. I think that's why I let myself gain so much weight... I always felt like his little princess!

Now I barely fit in a size 12 and he lost 80 lbs and is wearing a men's large. I'm not feeling so small or princess like these days :(

Mine's always bouncing between 197-200 at 5'10" while i'm only 5'4" but he doesn't have any fat parts besides a slight belly. He's a 'mesomorph' so he's pretty solid [our comparison pic is in my profile pics] despite not working out. I outweigh him by almost 30 lbs. e___e
  • Yes, I told him my goal weight was 185 and he came back with a goal for himself a few days later of 180. I told him NO, I wanted to weigh less than my husband for once! So he chose 190 lbs as his goal

He is only 3 inches taller than me but very broad and muscular so i've never really LOOKED heavier than him, but the scales don't lie (more's the pity). He loved me when I was 25 lbs heavier than now so it didn't bug me until I realized that if I ate less and exercised more, I could actually lose weight-who'd've thunk!
