How often does everybody weigh in?

    I weigh myself every morning, but only log when I have lost a pound.

    I try and do it every week, but sometimes I can't stop myself jumping on them.
    I will say though even if I do it once a day for 3 days or 3 times a day for 3 days I do feel a bit disappointed when there isn't a loss there. So I would say try and stick to minimum once a week. Yes it's not all about the scale but it does make you feel elated when you see the numbers going down every time you step on! :D

    Daily, recording my "official" weigh in once a week. I do measurements monthly. My weigh ins are part of my daily check in with the Wii Fit (when I'm actively trying to lose weight).

    Right now, though, I'm not weighing except at Doctor appointments.

    Weeky - every thurs morning.
    I wouldn't recommed daily weigh ins - i think that would then make you become too obsessed about how much you weigh.

    I've seen a nutritionist and they even advised once a week - must be right!

    I don't have scales in my house, i refuse to have them. Instead i go to my mum's house and weigh myself there! same time each week.

    Once a month. I get it done in a bod pod so I also get my bf% and know if I'm gaining muscle, retaining water, etc.

  • I weigh in every morning, after I go to the bathroom, naked. Some say that's too much, but I don't document my weight every single day, and I'm not too incredibly discouraged by fluctuations on the scale. I know it's normal. (Hell, I'm five pounds heavier most days when I go to bed!)

  • I weigh once a week although i do sneek a peek mid week, I dont do every day as there are major shifts especially after aerobic exercise or period time. so once a week is a good measure stick for me. Plus it is quite positive as every day if there are vast changes for me is not motivational and may be quite dangerous if you think omg i have put on. ill cut back xx however it is up to you x

    I do a slight weigh in every day but do an official one Saturday mornings that I log into MFP :tongue:

    I weigh every morning around 6:00-6:30 a.m. wearing exactly the same thing and before drinking any coffee or water. I'm on my third scale (the newest one is very accurate). But, in my opinion the scale keeps me real honest...So, before I put anything in my mouth that could do damage, I think about that morning weigh-in. It does work...

    Daily, first thing in the morning. If I'm down it's a nice way to start the day, if I'm up it's a reminder to stay on track. Only log my loses normally because that's the direction I intend going.

    Thanks for all of the helpful information. I have decided to weigh once per week. I am not doing measurements, but will start that soon. Gotta say, this is an encouraging, helpful bunch of people. You are all awesome!
