My name's Bonnie, I'm 5'1" and weigh around 148. I've always been around 110 even after 5 babies. After baby 6 and 7, I gained
around 40 lbs each, and just couldn't get it back off. Been struggling for a long time now. (My baby is now 17) I would be so happy to get to 120 and build some muscle. Love My Fitness Pal, and I just need to stay committed, and just keep movin on!0 -

I'm Becca and I am 5'2''.
I don't know my starting weight for sure.. I've had weight issues since I was in the 3rd grade.
I was flipping through my old Photobucket account when I found a pic of me from 2006. I was about 14 then!
It's always good to remember you're never too young or too old to lose weight and be healthy. Granted back then I didn't see myself with a weight issues - I just figured I was big boned and I was supposed to be fluffy.
I don't know how much I weighed back when I was 14. I didn't own a scale.
I was probably around 5' to 5'2'' then though.. since I didn't grow much after I turned 13.
I know that I am currently between 125-130lbs.
May 2006 compared to September 2012

I'm 5'2 also. I started at 238.8 lbs wearing a tight 22 pants. I went to the doctor in January and she said "you know if you loose weight it would really help." I took that comment and ran with it. Now 8 months later I am down 92 lbs and only have 16.8 lbs to go to get to my goal of 130. I have struggled with my weight since childhood and have PCOS, hypothyroidism, 3 kids, and a husband who due to his job is gone more than he is home! If I can do it anyone can!0

Im 5'1 and also needing some motivation and support. I goal weight is 140. I would love new friends and people to talk to aswell. add me0

I'm 5'2 (158cm) and my ideal weight has always been around 115 pounds (52kg) but since I started uni I went up to 125 pounds (57kg) and was never able to go back down
At the end of my third year at uni, after exams, I went up to 141 pounds (64kg) and couldn't fit in any of my jeans + my shirts were super tight on me ((
Now I'm at 128 pounds (58kg) and trying to go back to at least 120 pounds (55kg)
Need more motivationnnnnnnn0 -
also 5'2 and in need of motivation. Scales haven't moved to 2 weeks! Trying to stick with it and not give up.0

I want to read the WHOLE thread when I have time .
I am 5'2" and starting at 173 lb... I don't think I would look good at anything less than 135 (I've been 124 before, not cute OR healthy for me) and I am aiming for mostly just a lower BF%... right now it is 30%. Doing that by slowly getting into weight lifting and eating right is my goal
Congrats all you ladies who have met your goals! I know everyone is different, but it's nice to see such a variety of girls and ages all do something good for themselves... it just goes to show we can ALL do it!0 -
Yay....a whole thread filled with "fun sized" people!!!! I'm 5'2" as well & I'm trying to lose about 50 pounds of pregnancy weight. I just recently came back to MFP because I know it works. I used it in the past to lose 20 lbs but this time it seems I'm having a harder time. My question to all of you is how many calories are all of you consuming to lose? What works for you? I'm following the 1200 cal/day but I'm thinking maybe I need to up the calories to in between 1200-1400. I am trying to work out 6 days a week for a half hour to an hour each time, mainly walking with a little strength training in there too. I'm hoping some of you are close to the same size as myself & have some good advice for me. I'm 181 now & I'd like to get down to around 130ish.0
-
I am 31 years old and 5'1. I started off on MFP the Monday before Thanksgiving of 2011
3 months after having my 3rd baby. I have 3 kids (ages 5 and under) all via c-section. I started at 138 lbs and set a goal to get to my pre-pregnancy weight of 128 lbs. I reached that goal and set another goal to reach 125 lbs. I reached that goal and set another goal for 120 lbs. I reached that goal and set one final goal of 115 lbs---which I reached at the end of August. I am now trying to maintain at 115 lbs...
Biggest advice I have to give you is to set small weight loss goals at a time---5 lbs or so at a time. Easier to reach goals that way instead of setting one large goal. It makes it seem so much more "doable" when you are working for little goals at a time. Good Luck everyone. I don't have any 'before' pictures---but my pictures on my profile are pictures of me at 117 lbs. I have lost 2 more lbs since then.....0 -
I am 5'2" and my goal is 125. I think I really would like to be 120 but I have not set it as my gaol. I am not sure if it is realistic for me at this time. I want to focus on getting below 130 first and go from there. I was wondering what others thought and what others my height had thier goals set to. I have not read all of this posting yet. So I am sorry if this was already talked about. HAHA.0

Hi! I am 5'3' (not much taller than you, LOL) but have a similar story. I was 238 at the beginning of this journey and now am 194. I'm far from my goal too. My original goal was 165 but I am going to lower that to 145 once I hit 150. Feel free to send me a friend request. I'm always looking for someone new to add so we can continually get new motivation. I've had 2 c-sections myself and girl..... I know EXACTLY what you mean.0

I'm 5' and had a c-section 5 years ago. I dislike my tummy. When I started my weightloss journey back in January I weighed 178. 5 years ago after my c-section I went up to 189lbs. I am currently at 142.2 and I would like to lose another 25-30lbs. These past week I didn't lose any I stayed at 142.2. It's hard to break into the 130's.0

I am 5'1.5" and I started my journey on January 7, 2012 at 244.4 pounds. I am currently at 177.4 pounds and have lost 67 lbs and counting!

Well for some reason I started off as 5ft 3 Inches, and now I am about 5ft 2? Go figure, I would rather lose more inches the other way. When I began this weightless program I started for myself I was about 210 lbs, now I am about 179.2 lbs. I still have a significant amount of weight to lose, but I am not going to give up, want to be healthy so bad!0

I'm 5'2 and BW was 177 now I'm at 168. on my way! we could do it together add me!0

There's something so nice about seeing all of you 5' 2" women! I usually feel like the shortest woman around in my social circle. I am currently 137.5 and want to wind up at 115-120. I'm a dedicated logger-inner and exerciser. Currently doing 30 Day Shred - about to advance to Level 2. Don't have many MFP friends, so would be happy to be added. I'm going to go back in this thread and add some of you! Thanks for the post.0

I'm 5'3".My starting weight was 220. I got down to 103, back up to 145 and am now at a healthy and happy 125. I just recently started a blog chronicling my weight loss journey. Check it out. http://ginger-warrior.blogspot.com/0

I'm also 5'2. My highest weight was 225, but I'm around 210 now. I've been struggling a lot over the past year or so with depression, which has not helped my weight loss. I'm now trying once again to lose weight and get healthier. My goal weight is around 125, but really I'm just looking to be healthy and happy with my body. I'm always looking for new friends on here, so feel free to add me if you want (:0
