I didnt really cut anything out of my diet but Im not gonna lie I miss sitting on the couch during a movie marathan with a huge glass of coke and a bunch of munchies. Just not practicule anymore. I will still have a coke on occasion though0

I miss freshly made biscuits dripping with butter. But you know, I haven't thought about them in years, which is why I wonder if threads like this help or hurt.

I was going to say I eat anything I want, within the context of keeping my carb, fat, and protein ratios correct and at my calorie goals, but...
There is one thing I could slather everything with - Buffalo Wild Wings' Ranch dressing, 320 calories, 36g of fat per tablespoon. Tastes like pure bliss, but I just can't eat that without messing up my counts.0 -

Mmmm...deep fired taro. My favorite Thai place that the hubby and I go to serve deep fried taro as a complimentary appetizer. We haven't been there in a month or so, I think it's time to head back there soon. May have to suggest to him for this weekend.0

Since I currently live in AL, I miss "real" pizza....The New York/New Jersey Italian pizza shop kind. I does not exist down here....Oh, and cheesesteaks.
Now that I am restricting my intake to lose weight, I miss eating as much as I want of many things...But mostly my own cooking.0 -

I'm with all of you who say "everything in moderation", however, I used to eat tubs of icing by the spoonful while watching TV.
I don't think this should ever be done-moderation isn't possible with this one! So I do miss those days, sometimes. :laugh:0 -

I could eat cheesecake every day... I make a phenomenal New York cheesecake. I still make one for special occasions, but it's so hard not to eat half of it myself!0

However, I agree with some of the previous comments. I still have a cheat meal and dessert once a week, and if I over do it, I just do more at the gym. I don't really deprive myself of anything, I just ask myself "How bad do you want it and do you want it more than you want to be in shape?" That helps me alot, just saying that to myself.0

I miss sleeping in. I get up everyday to hit the gym at 5:45 am. You know what I don't miss? Sleeping in and feeling like s*** because I didn't get up at 5:45 to hit the gym daily.
Oops! I forgot this was about food!
I miss the days of eating what I want and not counting calories. However, that isn't the place for me anymore. I will indulge if my calories allow it and I don't starve for it!0 -
I don't really miss eating any foods because if I really want something, I fit it in my macros. However, what I miss is not thinking about what I eat.0
