Only 14.3 miles today, just had nothing left in my legs when I was riding into the wind but tomorrow is another day and the rest might do me a bit of good as I have rode just about every day for the last 2 months, 816.78 miles for the month

Well that's all for this month. 831 miles, 3 centuries, roughly 25,000 calories, and a ton of fun had on the bike. in the coming winter months I will back off my goal to the 400-500 mile per month range and do a bit more conditioning in the Gym. Made my first goal, however I did not hit my revised goal.

63.5 miles today taking me to 880.31 miles for September, 13 miles less than August but with the change in weather I am more than happy with that amount as they seemed so much harder with the wind, looking forward to October now .....

I fell short of my goal this month. I really thought that I had it, but a few unplanned activities with my family took me away from my rides. I'll try to do better next month.0

My goal for September was 100 miles. With today's 14.2 ride,my total miles came to 146.3 for the month. I don't know how Ill do in October. By the time I get home from work, it will almost be dark. I ride bike trails in the woods and soon it will be hunting season. I don't want to be a moving target. I guess I will play it by ear. Logging the rides has helped me achieve my goal and even go beyond.0

I am in. Again even though I didn,t get 300 last month, I am setting my goal again for September at 300
9/1- 8.6 miles - 12.3 ave.
9/3- 65.7 miles - 14.7 ave
9/10- 10.9 miles - 12.1 crashed all the miles I could do for the night.
9/14- 2.5 miles - just to see if I could do it after the crash, not my better judgement
fractured ribs and a dislocated hip.
9/23 - 2.2 miles - tried it again, pain at bottom of stroke still not ready for a long ride. Crashes suck!!
9/30 - 6.2 miles - no pain in hip now, about ready to get back to normal riding.
96.1 miles for Sept. - 1609.5YTD
Glad to see all the miles racking up. Even though I can't ride now because of the crash, I still have been keeping an eye on everyones progress. Good job everyone and stay riding!

Didnt get to my goal but I'm blaming that on the fact I STILL havent got my new bike. I should be getting it this week though...fingers crossed!!!
Those theives should be found and shot...I wouldnt care them stealing my bike if I had a spare one or if I could afford to replace it!! Having to wait for the insurance to sort it out has been murder!! It'll be 2 and a half month from losing it to getting the replacement by the time I get it....sorry - rant over! :bigsmile:

Rain kept me off my bike on the last day of the month. Even if I had ridden I would not have made my goal. However I had only 7 days I did not ride. And riding over 300 miles for the months is fantastic!0 -
