Challenge is to do 10,000 steps in a day. You can do this for any one day or try for the entire month. Jump right in at any time! You can set a lower or higher goal if you wish. Our main goal is to keep activate every day!

It's easy to join - Just post here to begin!

You will need a step counter to keep track of your steps and then post your results daily here.

    I'm in too. I may not post everyday but my pedometer keeps totals for a week at a time so I will defintely share my steps on days that I miss. I'll try to post daily though. I love going for long walks, so relaxing :)

    October Goals: 400,000 steps for the month. Minimum of 10,000 steps per day.

    This is the last month before we change back to standard time. The days are already getting shorter so the loss of the extra evening daylight hour will be really missed. Will have to get more steps at work and the gym, or be stuck circling the driveway after dark. :laugh:

    June totals: 528,747 steps; 401,817 aerobic steps (3339 minutes); 241.81 miles
    July totals: 546,725 steps; 404,366 aerobic steps (3206 minutes); 250.12 miles
    August totals: 616,877 steps; 406,665 aerobic steps (3177 minutes); 282.13 miles
    September totals: 544,954 steps; 375,408 aerobic steps (2961 minutes); 249.27 miles

    October goals:
    Daily: A minimum of 14K steps and 11K aerobic steps every single day.
    Monthly: 600,000 steps; 390,000 aerobic steps (3000 minutes); 270 miles of walking.
    Other: Complete Long Beach Marathon on 10/7 in under 7 hours.
