START WEIGHT: 252 Pounds
GOAL/CURRENT WEIGHT: 128 Pounds
Words of advice: Portion control, moderation. Don't sweat the small stuff, everyday is a new day! Get rid of the Soda. Give your workout everything you've got! Add more fruit and veggies into your meals(side of veggies, fruit for dessert). It's okay to allow yourself that cookie, or piece of chocolate from time to time. Don't call it a diet, you are getting healthier!
I definitely agree with your point on dieting. I would go insane trying to count calories, so I focus more on moderation and consistency.
