Exercise of Choice for Sunday - What did you do? Pics?

I went hiking through swamp land in at Myakka State Park! I've even got the wet books and wrinkled map as evidence. Grin.
So, where or what did you guys do today? I thought it would be fun to share and see what else everyone is doing for exercise.

I like yours better than mine:
- 2.5 hours in the kitchen before sitting down to breakfast and a coffee
- an hour in the sun working on my tan
- half-an-hour of weeding
- got the washing in to be sorted and put away later
- an hour washing the car
- another half hour putting mulch on the garden and watering various parts
- nearly another hour in the kitchen then finally sat down to dinner
And that's a rest day!0 -
Forty minutes with my bike on the bike trainer. I used the tougher gears as much as possible to increase my thigh muscles. I was afraid of being late to church if I took the bike outside.0

I walked 4 laps around Kenny's Pond (about 2 miles). No pictures. I met a very cute and shy dachshund.0

I painted my allotment garden shed and turned a compost heap - my arms and core got a good workout!0

I did 50 mins of No More Trouble Zones + 2 sets of 38 squats with bicep curls (3 lb weights) = 59 mins total.
Then I took my kid to the mall and we wandered (aka I made him walk with me!). I bought my first FitBit, the Ultra model (on sale at Brookstone from $99 to $79!) and then we wandered Walmart while he picked out a toy and I perused the workout DVD section.
No pics today.. the only one I took was of me showing off the new smaller sized jeans I tried on! LOL0 -
I'll be hitting the gym with the husband as soon as he wakes up from Sunday afternoon nap.
I'm thinking I'll run/walk for 3 miles, trying to increase my run time, then do an incline workout for 1/2 hour.0 -
50 minutes on my elliptical. longest yet for me. went quick. good music and good conversation thru texting with a friend, exchanging tips and ideas for getting healthier.0

I wish I could have worked out today. Lol. But usually I do kick boxing on Sunday. Followed by a total body strength routine.0

I took a 2 mile nature walk with my two children. We saw a woodpecker, a deer and tons of beautiful trees. It was a lovely time! :happy:0

I went lizard hunting with my kids! lol it consisted of walking up hills. I didn't workout today. I decided to take the day off. I did awesome all week.0

I ran a half marathon.0

I do a 2hr session, boxing followed by a weights/cardio circuit. Smash out nearly 1100 calories0

No pics, but a buddy and I hit up back, biceps, and abs today. Did the following:
Warmup - run up the stairs (20 steps) and walk back down ten times
Pull ups - four sets of 10 (wide grip, neutral grip, chin-up, and mixed grip)
Plated preacher curls - four sets of 12
Torso rotation machine - four sets of 12
Front Pulldown machine - four sets of 12
Cable bicep curls - four sets of 12
Decline crunches - we did four kinds.. straight, alternating sides, crunches and then tossing an 18lb med ball, and knees-raised crunches on the ground.
Back extension (machine) - four sets of 12
Also did something I thought of and coined the 9-point toss. One person stands on a Bosu ball (round side up), the other person passes a medicine ball to the person standing on the Bosu. Should be 9 passes, high/middle/low left/middle/right. Two runs each of that with a 16lb ball.
Finally we cooled down with 10 more flights of stairs.0 -
I rode my bicycle for 81 minutes today. I don't know how many more autumn days I'll have for riding my bike before the SNOW comes. So today I thoroughly enjoyed my ride. No pictures....0

Play call of duty, fix car and decide not to exercise today. Normally ride my bike at least 20 miles sometimes more.0

Today, not a lot. Just walked to and from work. tomorrow is hiking day on the new trails I discovered. Someone made about 15 miles of wooded and rocked trails, with little bridges and stairs and whatnot...very nice. i just stumbled across it in the woods at my new house0

wow i wish i lived there! it was veryyy cold today where i live so i went to the gym and did an hour of elliptical and weight training. i would love to take a long hike.0

Today I did Chalean Extreme Burn Circuit 1 (last week in Burn) and I followed it with Turbo Jam dvd Punch, Kick & Jam
I am addicted to Chalene Johnson workouts!!0 -
Today i did 40 minutes of Tae Bo, made breakfast for my girls and I,Got girls and myself ready dropped girls off at inlaws and came to work... So glad hubby was still home when i was working out or i wouldn't have been able to do it.0
