I need to lose about 100lbs. Add me to be supported and to support in return =D0

Yep, right there in that boat with you!!! I'm wanting to lose 90-110 lbs, and I know I WILL do it, and so will everyone else!
I'll send you a friend request, and anyone is welcome to add me as well. The more support we each have the better0 -
I need to get rid of at least 100lbs. I don't want to say lose because whenever you lose something it always finds it's way back. Very focused on my goal of losing the pounds and would love a great support system. Add me if you would like. Good luck! You can do it!!!0

I'm in the 100 club. Actually it's 150, but who's counting?
I'm active on MFP and I am here for the long haul. I find that I am most motivated when I can be encouraging to others. And... I try to keep it real.
Feel free to add me. I enjoy connecting with others who have similar struggles. I applaud anyone's efforts to get healthier, but I have a hard time relating to those who are already a healthy weight and they want to tone. I know that I will be there someday, but right now I just want to check the mail without getting winded.
Best of luck to you ALL!

im looking to loose roughly 220lbs! 150lbs down so far

I need to lose about 3 stone
AND, by the way, there is nothing INFORMAL about a stone - it is exactly 14 lbs and everyone of those pounds weighs heavily on the soul.
Quite right! I suppose to non-Brits it may seem a bit odd but a stone is as good a measurement as any other! I have 7 of them to lose (otherwise known as 98lbs) so am going to be here a while!

I like the stone measurements it gives me a smaller number to hit maybe more achievable when it does not look like a mountain0

Sorry, didn't mean to offend. Just copied and pasted a FORMAL definition. Someone asked a question and I was just trying to be helpful. I think by "informal" the dictionary means it originated as a vernacular term rather than an official unit of measurement.0 -
100 is first aim (to get me 'just' under 200) , then take it from there...
Ps. I think stone is seen as informal these days as its part of the old imperial measurements (but then again pretty much all bathroom scales you buy in the uk will be measured in stones) - its just what we're used to in blighty...0 -
I have 135 lbs to lose. I just started my weight loss journey and would love to be able to give extra support and get some in return.0

I'm curious. Why do you find what I said so offensive? I didn't come up with that definition myself. I more or less knew the basic definition, but I wasn't sure of the equivalent weight in terms of pounds so I googled it and found that definition. Wasn't trying to be condescending in any way. I was just trying to answer someone's question.0 -
I am here everyday....I've meant some great people ...100+ to loose. Feel free to add me0

Oh dear! I seem to have made quite the wrong impression.
No worries - I'm not offended - just being pedantic. We cherish our stones - even though we now weigh in kilos mostly
they weigh heavily on the soles too0 -
I need to lose 120 lbs. It seems like so much. I am so tired of looking and feeling the way I do. I am ready to start my weight loss journey. I just started using MFP yesterday. I need all the support I can get.0
