Got me through a Marathon (Dublin City) and all the training leading up to it.
Irish and running shirtless = hypothermia and serious slagging. Slagging would be worse than the hypothermia I would imagine.0 -
ow ow ow ow ow. I am channelling your post-run-shower pain right now.
All I can say is: bandaids. bandaids. bandaids. For your reference:

Yep, as you've no doubt figured out by now, this is really common in men. I'll give you my reviews of all the solutions I know of:
Nip-guards work, but they're expensive.
Body glide works for short runs, but fails after five miles or so
Compression shirts are the most cost effective solution, but I don't always want to wear compression shirts (though I almost always do on long runs, because body glide fails after 5 miles)
Bandaids or tape seem like they should work, but I'm always reluctant to try new solutions. It hurts to much when they fail.0 -
Solid anti-perspirant. Works like a charm. Great for rub spots on your feet too! Good luck!0

Bandaids or moleskin.......
I had a similar problem once with the safety pins from my race bib.... OUCH!0
