    best idea ever! i wish the judges in ny were that cool. i would wear a regular suit regular everything and then get some really gory makeup and make a huge gash on your forehead or face haha professional yet festive! good luck!

    It's not really a buddy costume... but you could be Beetlejuice in two different suits

    Guidelines:

    - We're both dudes
    - Our costumes must include a jacket of some nature, and a tie (local rules of court)
    - Can't be overly offensive (which is where I instantly draw a blank)
    - Must be funny

    given the guidelines.....

    I have a very good relationship with this particular judge. There are some judges that would be most ill-amused by this type of stunt, and I would likely hold us in contempt.

    Go to a thrift store and get the most ridiculously hideous 80's shirt/jacket/tie combos you can find, get a cheap wig and some clip on earrings, and grow some stubble.

    Bonus points if you both wear neon short shorts and high tops with it.
