    What an absolutely inspiring story.

I am just getting to the stage where I was starting to get obsessed with the scale - I weigh myself every day and I've been frustrated that I'm trying so hard and the pounds aren't falling off. Your comparison pictures are an absolute eye-opener. In fact, I can't believe you weigh 130lb in both - the difference is amazing.

You have definitely made me realize why exercise and lifting is just as important as the diet. Thank you.

You look amazing and you deserve to be proud - well done!
  • You look amazing then and now! Well done!

    You look absolutely blooming fantastic!!!!!
  • Your dedication, persistence, and drive definitely show in those after pics. Excellent job!
  • Ok so that is a pretty amazing transformation. You were good with the diet and cardio but the weight lifting gave you the body of a 19-20 yr old. I have been putting off working out. I need to get off my buns and tone up. Very inspiring.

You are amazing!!!! I love your attitude! That is the attitude I need to adapt. :) Thank you for sharing your story and all the amazing pictures. Amazing what working out can do for your body, the difference in those pictures of you at 130 pounds is huge!

I don't take a lot of pictures. I don't take my measurements. I do rely a lot solely on just the scale, but also on how my clothes are feeling. I think I need to quit procrastinating with the measurements and pictures and just do it. :) Thanks!

My hubby found this post and passed it on to me. We are just in the very early stages of heavy lifting. Hopefully I'll have the same results as you did!

Thank you! I'm so afraid to eat too many calories, usually 1400-1700, which includes exercise calories.. Guess I better bite the bullet and give it a shot.

OMG that is so inspiring!!!! I've always thought doing hard core cardio was the only way to lose weight so that's what Ive always done. Just started strength training and I prefer it.
