My weight resides in my *kitten*, hips, boobs and legs. Even when I weigh less I still have a black girls *kitten* :)

I know right. Cause obviously all black girls have an obese *kitten*

I'm sorry you're unaware of the concept of a joke.

YES!! MY GOD. My boy would always say he wanted to force feed me lard, coz he liked me with 'more meat on my bones'.
And now that I've gained a little back, he said to me "I swear Nicky. If you get rid of your butt again, I'm getting rid of you!!"

Well he can suck it because I like it when I'm at my goal weight LOL

No, I'm pretty well aware. Its as much of a joke as someone saying they're all curves when they're morbidly obese.
  • Im going to try and put this delicately, do you ever feel pressure from men to not exercise to save that sweet sweet hiney? I know men don't get that.

    Yes!
My boyfriend loves mine, and I am afraid that if I lose too much weight, it will go away.

My husband has always been supportive of me but he has put ice cream in my slim fast shakes in the past!

I dont feel the pressure. I'm just set on being a certain weight so that i still have that booty and tits to match  Hubby has to have something to grab on to

There wasn't junk in my trunk before exercising. The problem is foreign to my non-*kitten*.

^ This, I actually have more of a booty when I work out.

However, I have a friend who is known for her booty-poppin' (she teaches pole and booty classes) and when she works out too much, she starts to lose her oh-so-awesome *kitten*. She has discovered that eating the occasional cupcake (or other "fattening" food) takes care of this problem. Basically, the answer to her fitness vs. bootiliciousness dilemma turns out to be eating her exercise calories back.

Edited to add: I have been told by my husband, as well as other men in my life that I look better with a little more meat on my bones--not overweight, but on the higher end of my healthy weight range. I don't take this as pressure though, my husband is not with me for my pants size.

You mean like: "You can do side bends or sit-ups but please don't lose that butt" ?

My butt got even bigger proportionately with strength training only now it's gravity defying and hard as a rock. No discouragement so far.

I told my husband that my boobs would probably get smaller once I started losing weight and he was sad. Lol:tongue:

Just because you have a big butt does not mean that it's shapely. Exercise will change it from a butt to an *kitten*.

When I lost the bulk of my weight, my butt got more shapely and muscular, so my husband very much liked that a lot better than the big flabby *kitten* I had before, though he liked that too. I've heard some women say they don't want to workout for fear of losing their boobs or *kitten*, but, to me, a healthy long life where I can physically do what I want to be able to do means more than what some random guy thinks of my *kitten*.

I was scared about it. I loved my butt! 40 lbs later and I'm not thrilled about how small it's gotten, but it's still got some curve. And the boy is pretty fond of it, too :P

The guy I'm currently having relations with always jokes that I have to stop running so much because it makes me butt smaller and it makes hi sad. He's known me like 10 years and says he likes me better with maybe 20 more pounds on my then I have now but the way I see it I'm going this for me not for a guy, even if we were dating I might be slightly more inclined to let myself go a but but this is mostly for me

I think you just started this post so women would discuss their butts with you, huh? Tsk tsk.
  • Thank God good butts run in the family. I love my butt and won't lose it no matter what size I am.

I'm not really worried. I think I will always have a booty because of my body type but I'm really trying to the it up because it's quite flabby despite doing squats and lunges, etc. My husband would be very sad if my butt got too small tho so if I had a different body type I'd be more 'worried'

    Edited for typos

After 31 pounds lost, I'm pretty sure I still have junk in my trunk... and always will no matter how much I lose!

Yes!! I'm currently training for a half marathon, and even though the scale hasn't budged with the increased mileage I'm running, my fiance told me the other day that my bootay was shrinking! I didn't have much of a butt before, but I built one by doing a ton of squats and lunges -- sooo after the half marathon is over in a few weeks, back to the squats & lunges! ;)

You don't have to lose your butt!
Squats, lunges, and deads gave me lean legs and a nice bubble butt

Sure the size of my butt went down, but it looks a lot better!

    QUALITY > quantity
I would rather have my smaller bubble butt than a bigger cellulite butt xD

There was this one guy who I dated that kept telling me to quit lifting, and to make sure not to lose my errr.r.... assets.
I dumped that chump. So far though, my booty has only toned up and I haven't lost any cup size in my tata's. So this girl is toning in all the right places and keeping my lady lumps :)

No.... my husband likes my nice tight butt along with the long firm legs too. I have a butt, but it's not a big ole butt. Pics in my profile... js Caution to anyone that looks.
