I do not but I plan to install one when we buy a new house, no reason I should install one now for the next person who owns my house to enjoy (however now I wonder if that might speed up the selling process.

However, I do have a waterproof washer that I find is quite portable and doesn't pose as much of a risk for overflows in the bath tub.

I changed ours when we got here. We have the detachable in both bathrooms. I like to be considerate to my guests too.

Is your showerhead detachable? Mine is not. I suppose I'd best be going to home depot.
You know you can really get those hard to reach spots on the back.

Upstairs (and the one I use), yes. Downstairs, no.

I had one, LOVED IT, but left it in the move. I need another one.

Life is just not the same without it. lol

Used to have a detachable one - new house, not detachable. I seem to recall being much happier at the old house. Hmm....weird.

You can find 'em cheap and they're beyond easy to install ...

I have a dual shower-head, one of which is detachable. It is lovely.

    Mine isn't detachable.
I have a detachable one I install when I bath the dog but I prefer my stationary one.
It is a really big one and is like showering in a waterfall!
    Someone doesn't get the joke...

Ladies, they're like $9 at Home Depot and incredibly easy to install.

Just be sure to use plumbers tape and ensure it's properly threaded

I installed my own within a few hours of moving into our new house.
And my tenant looked like she probably had cobwebs, so out of the goodness of my heart I installed hers too.

Too funny to find this. My handspray has been with me for 28 years -- I bought it for my apartment when I moved out of my parents' house, then it was one of the first things I did when I moved to my condo 24 years ago. After 28 years, the jets have basically been drilled out, so the stream isn't anywhere near as stimulating as it used to be. One of my projects this weekend is to replace it.

The trend seems to be to bigger, but fixed showerheads. I noticed this a few years ago when the newest cruise ships traded the small, cheap, light plastic hand sprays for the big, fixed "rain" heads. That was the only negative feedback I had for the cruise line.
