Ladies, they're like $9 at Home Depot and incredibly easy to install.
Just be sure to use plumbers tape and ensure it's properly threaded
I installed my own within a few hours of moving into our new house.
And my tenant looked like she probably had cobwebs, so out of the goodness of my heart I installed hers too.0 -
I changed ours when we got here. We have the detachable in both bathrooms. I like to be considerate to my guests too.
That is AWESOME!! Lol0 -
I got a super fancy one...kind of worried my wife is going to divorce me now.0
-
She's doing it ALL wrong!0 -
I guess I'll be running to Home Depot this weekend. I never realized how important this was to you women.0
-
It's good for guys too.
Just sayin'.0 -
Nope, but it's okay. My vibra...erm...special back scrubbers......are waterproof. So it's all gravy0
-
I have a detachable one.
I miss it when I'm traveling....0 -
Too funny to find this. My handspray has been with me for 28 years -- I bought it for my apartment when I moved out of my parents' house, then it was one of the first things I did when I moved to my condo 24 years ago. After 28 years, the jets have basically been drilled out, so the stream isn't anywhere near as stimulating as it used to be. One of my projects this weekend is to replace it.
The trend seems to be to bigger, but fixed showerheads. I noticed this a few years ago when the newest cruise ships traded the small, cheap, light plastic hand sprays for the big, fixed "rain" heads. That was the only negative feedback I had for the cruise line.0 -
Every girl needs one.0

No, it's not Hubby does not understand that this is necessary, and keeps buying non detachable ones!
ACK! You just made me flash back to a conversation with my 68 year old mother-in-law about how she only wants to use detachable showerheads......QUICK! TO THE EYE BLEACH!0 -
Detachable shower heads are a must no matter where I live.:devil:0
-
We had to replace the one in my bathroom, and the boyfriend got another stationary one. I need the detachable one for... cleaning... yea, cleaning.0

Upstairs (and the one I use), yes. Downstairs, no.
Oh no, as I think the gist of this post is that it is very important to have for ... uh.. "downstairs".0 -

Is your showerhead detachable? Mine is not. I suppose I'd best be going to home depot.
You know you can really get those hard to reach spots on the back.

I can see it now. Drowning in the bathtub with my legs up on the wall and my crack getting sucked through the drain while my husband and daughter bang on the bathroom door asking if I'm ok.....I think I'll pass.
