    I'm more a G

G: Check that the vacuum has enough suction to pick up the cracker without having to bend over. Then examine the cracker, maybe even take a tiny bite to see if it's still good. :blushing:

None of the above...use the suction of the vac to hold on to the cracker...then lift the wand high enough off the ground so that I can reach the cracker without bending... Pull off cracker and throw away...yes, I am that lazy and have a bad back that hurts when I bend soo...?

I'd do what normal people do.

    1) Run it over with the vacuum, notice it only skootched over a little but remains in the carpet.
    2) Run over it several more times, taking note that the only thing it does is move, not get sucked into the vacuum.
    3) (this will please all the fitness fanatics posting above me) Bend over and pick it up.
    4) Examine the cracker. Find that it's a perfectly normal cracker.
    5) Put it back on the floor and give the vacuum one more chance.

Oh gosh this made me laugh so much. It is exactly what I do!
  • I have twin toddlers.. I have to pick up stuff ALL DAY LONG!! I would do A because it is all I know.

Edited - Husband laughed at me and said.. it has nothing to do with the kids. I am too anal to crush a cracker and make a mess to vacuum up. He knows me well.

Twins??? Wow!!! Congrats to you first and foremost for such a blessing. I'm assuming they're two years old and under? You have to be really patient to handles multiples that are so young. How do you keep your sanity? :)

We have 3 dogs in the house, so food left on the floor is a rare thing. However, if I were to find said mythical cracker, I would simply call one of the dogs over to dispose of it for me, and vacuum up and stray crumbs the dog doesn't sniff out.

I would say E but usually before I vacuum I go around and clean everything that would be too big to get sucked up.

    E. I am a wife and a mother. I don't have TIME to bend over and pick up the cracker then take it all the way over to the garbage.

Another F for Fido! With three dogs, odds of finding a cracker on the floor are slim to none.

E - I'd take out my aggression on the poor defenseless thing, then vacuum it up. But why are we running a vacuum over a hardwood or tile floor to begin with? Isn't that what a broom is for?

The Hoover would take care of it....Yep, that's the nickname of the Dog that eats everything including: lettuce, carrots, apples, bananas, broccolicicles--frozen broccoli is his favorite treat;-P Then vacuum up his crumbs.

Just make sure you log the cracker if you eat it.

none of those. I can't be the only person who finishes vacuuming and has a pocket full of pennies, paper clips, pebbles, and anything else I don't wanna break my vaccum with or that is too big to suck up. I clean out my pockets after I vacuum before laundry. Its quite the process.

Tell her she is a bad girl for leaving crackers on the floor then put her over your knee and spank her.

    F. I call the dog over and point to it. Without the dog, I pick up and put the things in my pocket.

E and I would pretend like I was in an infomercial demonstrating how awesome the vacuum cleaner is. "It crushes whole crackers leaving nothing behind!"

Call the dog. Watch dog eat cracker. Do 20 squats with the dog around my shoulders. Log dog squats and vacuuming.
